A very weird dining experience for me. I'm sure the food is actually much better than the 2 stars I'm giving it, but the atmosphere and service we received made my meal very hard to enjoy. Everything seemed fine upon arrival, there was a table already eating when we were seated, and a little while after that 3 other tables filled up. All of these tables were served before us, to the point where we were almost begging them to take our order. For whatever reason, the waitress did not seem to want to serve us anymore and someone else came to take our order. It took quite a while and our food did not come all at once, we had to remind them about our coffee, forget about even asking for water. Everyone else around us was getting attentive service..something was really off for us for whatever reason. We got small dessert forks for our meal, I checked and everyone else around us had normal cutlery. Nobody would look us in the eye, no one brought our bill, when we finally went to the counter she showed us our total on a calculator. I'm not a complainer, I understand sometimes people can be having bad days, but this was something else entirely. It's really a pity because everyone else's food and service...
Read moreMy experience I went with my husband to the place was not busy was lunch time as atmosphere you feel like you are Middle Eastern restaurant as far for the service missing experience from taking empty plate to serving but I am sure it can be improved as you see the chef is a hard working lady who took the order and brought it we did not feel that we waited so long but she apologised for taking so long but I did not find it so long, now most important food we order the maze mixed 8.1/10 some of the bites were dry but the winner are the kbeha and the roll of cheese we order plate of hommos with meat 7.4/10 hommos can be improved but meat were ok and we also order plate of shish touck and kefta and I was disappointed in the chicken missing flavored and I find the kofta dry and burn ftaouch missing the fried bread and I think if they add sambas roman will be more tasteful but some people like it like that the plate itself I rate 6.5/10 but you can go and try yourself overall the place has potential if they hired the right stuff for service and maybe work on their shsihtouck and kefta quality I am suggesting for you to go try and make sure your order the kebha and the...
Read moreRustic and cozy restaurant, we went on a weekend, and despite the rain the restaurant was packed. We placed our order and slowly the plates came. The food was tasty and fresh, however the service was very slow; we asked for tea 3 times before we received it, ordered a juice 3 times before we got it.
Also, we ordered the Eggs with Awarma dish with our waitress along with the rest of our order, but never received the dish. We asked for it several more times and each time we were told it's coming.. after 30mins since we finished eating the last dish, I asked the waitress to cancel the Awarma dish only to find out that they ran out of Awarma.. and when I mentioned that we had ordered this with our original order an hour and a half ago and other guests got the same order after us all I got was a "Sorry".
Communication could be improved between the kitchen and the serving staff to avoid these situations.. and the serving staff need to me more...
