It started when we tried calling at 7pm to place a pick-up order. We couldn't get through...repeatedly a voice message saying their mailbox was full (?). We thought perhaps they were closed. Since we were around the area, we decided to pass by. Yes, they were open but had only 1 girl on the phone who was having trouble keeping up with all the telephone orders. We felt sorry for her. So, we placed our order inside and decided to wait for it. 45 minutes later, our order was in a bag and ready. We ordered the chicken chow mein with noodles. The dish was 3/4 full of undercooked noodles . I thought they had forgotten the chicken. But there was a few meager little pieces of chicken you really needed to look for under all the noodles. The few vegetables included regular green cabbage pieces and sliced carrots (really strange).. a few pieces of broccoli and bok choy. And not enough sauce to coat all those hard noodles. Very, very disappointing. We also ordered chicken with crispy spinach in peanut sauce. We didn't get that order. Instead we got a very spicy chicken dish with bell peppers in a hot red sauce. Very small portion I might add and way too spicy for us. 2 vegetable spring rolls completed the order. They were ok, but very greasy. A few tablespoons of very very watered-down liquidy plum sauce accompanied their spring rolls. Terrible. It seems as if they try to stretch out their portions with the cheaper ingredients. A big disappointment and a far cry from their food (years ago) at their old Victoria St. Westmount location. These 2 dishes and 2 spring rolls were not worth the 40$ at all. Sorry but there's many better places for great Asian food in Montreal. I would not recommend at all or...

I made a reservation to celebrate my sons and my own birthday. We had a party of 7. From the moment we walked in the restaurant, we could tell we were not going to be treated with respect. We were given these weird looks.
I thought perhaps I was reading into things that weren't there. We sat down, we decided to take a look at the menu anyway. The waiter came by, no eye contact, no patience. Did not want to describe the dishes to us. Looked at my friend like she was stupid when she asked about a particular mushroom.
About an hour and a half later, when the food finally arrived, the waiter practically threw the plates on the table. Whenever we tried to get someone's attention, they walked right by.
I want to mention that the food was delicious. From the soups to the dumplings to all of our entrees, even the green tea ice cream.
The service is what left a nasty taste in our mouths. Even when it was time to pay, the credit card machine was practically left at our table for an entire five minutes before I had decided enough was enough. I asked my family and friends to grab their belongings and I took the machine to the front of the restaurant and gave them a piece of my mind.
They all just looked at me with blank faces.
Work on your customer service. The customer is always right. We were there to spend money and enjoy a great meal like everyone else in there. There was no reason the children at our table should have waited so long to eat.
I should have walked out when we were treated wrong from the beginning. Never again will I eat here. ...
Read morePhenomenal varied pan Asian menu, with beautifully presented dishes, and a separate vegetarian/vegan menu under the iChing brand. Attentive, friendly service. Subdued, zen atmosphere with luxurious decor. Highlights include the large egg rolls and hunan dumplings with peanut sauce (veg or meat). Thick Shanghai noodles or soft skinny lo mein dishes also lovely (and large to share family style). Thai red curry was perfectly spiced for those who like it piquant. Shrimp in lobster sauce is a perfect execution of a classic Cantonese dish that really should be called ‘Prawns’ because they are very large and flavourful. Parking in the neighbourhood could take a little while, but being across the street from Villa Maria Métro is a good option (also a terminus for 5 bus routes). Seating is spaced every second table when possible, and vaccination passports properly checked. Bathroom is immaculately clean and well stocked. My only suggestion would be to create a vegetarian ‘combo’ menu including soup and appetizer for a set price like the regular menu, but the à la carte menu is so reasonably priced, and the portions so generous, it is not a big deal. On my list of neighbourhood gems, and in my top 10 restaurants for a perfect meal...
