Delicious and tasty food at a great price!
My husband and I ate here yesterday night and we'll definitely be returning to try the rest of the food on the menu. We ordered the soy sauce and garlic fried chicken, stir fried sweet potato noodles, fried dumplings, and the dolsot bibimbap.
Our favourite dish was the stir fried sweet potato noodles. It had a nice flavour and the noodles themselves were very yummy. It would be nice if they had some more veggies in the dish, but the dish was still very good.
The fried chicken was some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The batter was crispy and delicious without being too greasy, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
The fried dumplings were crispy and tasty, and you get quite a lot of dumplings for the price.
The bibimbap was good, but not the best bibimbap in Montreal. It felt like it was missing something - the flavour just wasn't quite there and I can't quite put my finger on why. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the dish.
In addition to the dishes we ordered, they also served us small starters of kimchi, pickled daikon, salad, and crab salad. The entire bill came up to just over $50, which felt like a steal considering the food we just ate.
We'll definitely be returning. So happy to have a Korean...

This location used to be a not-so-good Pho place (the kind that put frozen peas and carrots into a mapo tofu), and I'm very glad it became what it is now. This is fantastic, Verdun's 'main' area finally has a great Korean restaurant in walking distance from the metro.
We didn't even think to take pictures, but we'll deffo be back for more.
We tried the fried chicken everyone in these reviews are raving about, and it was very very well done. They have a good frying technique/standard and the chicken pairs well with their slaws. The seasoning is very mild, so if you're the type who likes punchy southern-US-style fried chicken I recommend asking for a spicy sauce. It otherwise comes with a traditional vinegar dip, which is yum.
We also had a bunch of their other dishes. The BBQ spicy pork, Beef Bulgogi and a couple other standards were also very good. This is a great casual dining experience, not too expensive and great service.
It's nice to see a good restaurant open up near the main that isn't some highbrow or hipster startup and I hope it stays part of Verdun for a long time. Like most Korean restaurant cuisine, the dishes are small and priced inexpensively (most are the price of an appetizer at many other restaurants) and they're great to split several among a...

The food was excellent. The soy sauce garlic fried chicken and the sweet fried chicken were perfectly sauced, super juicy, and crispy. The bulgogi japchae was garlicky and not overly sweet, by far the best I've ever had in Montreal. The ramen noodles had a nice chewy bite, and we slurped the broth down like our lives depended on it. The cheesy tteokbokki was slightly spicy, cooked to perfection, and made us want to sit there and drink soju all night (which unfortunately they do not offer 😞). The seafood pajeon was packed with delicious chunks of seafood and full of flavour. All this for a group of 6 only added up to 17$ each - amazing. The tonkatsu was crispy and covered in a light plum gravy. The side salad was a breath of fresh air, and the rice was perfectly cooked.
The service was friendly, super quick, and attentive. We got our food within 10 minutes of ordering.
All in all, our experience was excellent and we will make this a weekly event for certain.
