Coupe de Thon Sushi & Poke — Restaurant in Montreal

Honestly, their sushi is great!!! Can’t say anything about it except IT’S AMAZING.

Now the 1 stars comes from their very poor customer service. Not only they forget almost all the time to put shops ticks when you order for take out, but I was recently told that they cannot exchange their wasabi and ginger for spicy mayo. I have been exchanging spicy mayo by asking them to remove the wasabi and ginger that for a while now and I never had an issue, but tonight, the person at the front desk told me that they should have never done it and that I have to pay extra for the spicy mayo. I totally understand the guy. Fine, you can’t do the exchange, but you had done it about 15 times in the past and now, you don’t even want to let it go for this time (as a last time warning since I didn’t know) I am ok paying for it next time or even not ordering spicy mayo fir that matter, but I feel that the guy could have been just, and simply give me the spicy mayo as they had done so many times in the past, and I understand this "exchange" would not work the next time I order.

I give a 1 star because it doesn’t matter how good your food is, if the customer service is bad, the place is bad. Unfortunately, they lost a few clients since I work right next to it. Sushi Sama,...

I don't know if it's just that their quality has dropped due to Covid, but I was very disappointed. I ordered a chef's special, and found that everything was kind of stale tasting. The nigiri and sashimi were quite small, and much of my maki was overflowing with fake crab, which was way less appealing then literally anything else that you could put in its place. For some reason, my food came without ginger or wasabi, too.

I love love love this sushi spot. I’ve been ordering takeout from here for over two years when I was living in downtown Montreal. I’ve since moved to the South Shore but will still occasionally get takeout because that’s how good it is!

The quality has been consistently great since the beginning and they don’t skimp on the ingredients. The rolls are big and filling, fish and other ingredients are fresh, rice is good, and as you can see in the pictures, they don’t layer it on thick at all. Prices are very fair in my opinion.
