10/10 for ambiance. 0/10 for service! This is a really cute and spacious cafe right across from the courthouse. There is ample seating inside and a great terrace. Seems to be dog-friendly too! Unfortunately I had a TERRIBLE experience ordering food. I ordered the grilled cheese (as I don't eat meat) and the waitress brought me something that clearly had ham sticking out of it. When I went up to her to ask if it had meat, she shook her head and said "yeah" without remorse. I said it was okay and that I'll call my boyfriend to eat it. When the person in front of me in line offered to take it (since I didn't touch it), she responded on my behalf and said "No, her boyfriend will eat it." When my boyfriend arrived, he double checked the menu (he's French) and agreed that she brought me something else (Sandwich Dejeuner!) So she basically brought me something I didn't order and didn't apologize or replace it with something I could eat! He ended up ordering a grilled cheese for me before I could stop him. The grilled cheese was awesome but I'm not sure I will be back...

Good coffee, lots of space and vegan options, which are much appreciated.

However, I must say, the bathroom situation is pretty poor: 2 doors don’t lock properly (I was told by the staff to hold the door with my foot…) and the other door has a sign saying “please do not use this bathroom”. Also, the cleanliness of the bathrooms isn’t great (yes, I’ve seen much worse, but add that to the above facts; makes it pretty bad).

The employee mentioned to me that they are aware of these issues, but haven’t got around to fixing them. Not sure why, they might have a decent reason, but in the restauration industry, this should be a priority.

I would be glad to come back, but please fix your...

Fantastic place to take a laptop and work. Bright, spacious, friendly café with great staff, chill music and excellent food at fair prices. Light, fresh breakfast plates served until 11, with equally fresh, healthy lunches (such as the Naan-based "pizza" and croque-vége, both of which I recommend) served until close. The usual café assortment of excellent coffees, teas and tisanes are available, and there's a bike-through window for on-the-go pickup orders. One of my favourite daytime haunts in the...

Les Oubliettes is a café located on the corner of Saint-Vallier Street. There’s a lot of space inside, so it’s a good place to study or chat with friends. I ordered a matcha latte and I couldn’t taste anything. The color of the powder was not vibrant, so I could tell that they’ve been using an old package. My friend ordered a latte and she didn’t like it either. The cashier was a bit cold. The minimum purchase to use the credit card is $5.

What a amazing discovery! I always pass with my bike for this coffee shop and today I got the opportunity to try it, wow. I’m speechless, the sandwich déjeuner is so delicious, I wasn’t sure at firts cause is very different to other places I try, but is so worth it! You most try it. The chocolatine was so good also, matcha is so so but I bet her coffee is delicious. A real hide gem!
