DON'T GO THERE! They are not client-friendly. They're a dishonest administration who, after re-confirming multiple times for a 50th birthday celebration for 20 people, GAVE AWAY OUR RESERVATION TO ANOTHER GROUP! We even arrived 10 minutes earlier to set up for the birthday, so it wasn't an issue of schedule. They offered to split our table into 2 groups of 10 sitting apart. IF they would have offered this during one of the calls reconfirming the reservation (the same day) PERHAPS we would have considered it but because they were literally f*ing us around, we brought our business to Eche pa echarle who catered to us welcoming, and immediately. It was my first time eating a meal at this restaurant. Although Cuban food is not a culinary experience in general, there are some classics that are very comforting. All 3 of us were unsatisfied with our meal. The rice was reheated in a microwave. My steak encebollado had a weird liver flavour and was hard and over cooked. Veiny and tough. The plátanos were dry and reheated. My friend who ordered ropa vieja stopped eating immediately after finding some kind of weird veiny cartilage guck in his food. And the worst part is, he mentioned it to the waiter and the waiter was indifferent and we weren’t even given a discount or some kind to make up for the horrible experience. Was it because it was a Sunday? I don’t know... but I will NEVER step foot in that...

I almost never post reviews for restaurants but I wanted to take the time to send this one for CUBA PAISA because it's an awesome cozy restaurant where I had a great time and awesome memories with family and friends! To top it off, their food and drinks are delicious and very reasonably priced, you get your money's worth and more. They also play great music, sometimes LIVE bands too, and people start dancing, great fun vibes! But the best part of it all, is the amazing service we received. Our waiter Puchy was so attentive and friendly and made sure we always had what we needed, and always has a big smile on his face. Can't beat that! I will go again and again and I recommend everybody to go check it out, you will not...
