Dumpling Express — Restaurant in Montreal

It wasn’t that bad, the filling was tasty. The soup dumplings lacked the soup aspect, but other than that it tasted good. I was disappointed upon cashing out. There was no clear and distinct sign indicating that they were only taking cash nor did they clarify with us upon seating us. We had to desperately have someone run to the closest bank to withdraw money since we had finished eating. We noticed a cash only sign upon exiting but for the lower unit that had no lights on so as a new customer you wouldn’t think they were the same establishment. When we walked in the tables weren’t clean despite there not being any customers actively dining. They cleaned up really quick but the cups and the cutlery weren’t properly cleaned. We weren’t rushing to be seated, we were more than fine waiting. The service could’ve been better and my experience would have been different. This place has potential though, since their food is in the right direction. No negativity, I always wish the best for...

Delivery wise, it isn't that good unfortunately. They made several mistakes with my order and the dough was too thick, arrived dried and it just overpowered the filling. The pork and shrimp is a classic and traditional selection, but they delivered in a disappointing way by simply putting a grocery bought peeled shrimp with their porc filling. Wouldn't recommend for delivery, nor for dumpling quality honestly.

They also didn't consider those who don't like spice, so they only gave soy sauce with chili sauce, whereas other places...

I can't even begin to express how AMAZING the soup dumplings are. By far the BEST soup dumplings in the city and I've tasted so many in montreal. The regular fried/ steamed dumplings are also good but the star here really is the juicy soup dumplings .This was our second time today and the service was also amazing.Both times, such nice and friendly service.
