Essence — Restaurant in Montreal

Went more than a month ago to support my cousin who performed some new songs. Got my jacket stolen by the coat guy at the entrence. Paid for my friends jacket to be hold as well and the guy only gave me one number for both when they literally tell you it's one number per jacket. Had to go home without a jacket because they didn't wanna help me find it. I contact the boss no answer, go to the restaurant to claim it and got no help. Last week, I recontact the boss still no answer. It's crazy how you wanna etablish yourself as a restaurant/nighclub and you got thiefs and no customer service. Try to avoid that place everything is overpriced and staff...

If i could give 0 star for this place i would! Worst experience ever for a MTL bar. Had to make a reservation over the phone that once arrived no one ever asked for our name nor our reservation. Arrived there for the world cup and we were forced by a mad door man to put our coat in the coat room for 3$ each. Then never mentionned over the phone a 25$ cover charge. The wifo connection was deficient. We ordered a pizza that was the size of a kid portion for 20$ 🤬🤬 often we ask to talk to the manager but he/she was nowhere to be found. This is the lost coward manager i have ever seen. For any tourist coming to Montreal, avoid this place...

There was a Friday event with regetteon music, I was there with my girlfriend and this place was hella weird. The Haïtians bouncers were soo creepy and were manhandling every woman/girl close to them, they came through the dance floor every 5 minutes with flashlights in everybodys faces and kept touching every girl they could from the waist or sticking their pants to them, my girl and her friends got creeped out and i had to keep an eye on them for the rest of the evening.
