Restaurant Review: I recently dined at an Indian restaurant in Montreal, Quebec, and had a fantastic experience. The food was truly exceptional, with each dish offering authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. We tried the Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Sizzler, and Tomato Soup, all of which were perfectly prepared. The portions were generous, providing great value for the price. Our server, Yusuf, was incredibly polite and attentive, making the experience even better. The complimentary papad and gulab jamun added a warm, welcoming touch to the meal. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I highly recommend this spot to anyone craving authentic Indian food in Montreal.

I don’t know why this restaurant is rated so high. Montreal has amazing Indian restaurants and I’ve been to sorry many staples such as Harry’s and Mahli Sweets and this place is horrible. The samosas were dry. The naan bread is not cooked over a tandoor it looked baked… butter chicken was too tomatoey and not enough cream… ordered the lamb shank biryani as you can see in the photo the rice was mainly just white rice not mixed properly and so bland. 45 minute wait for this food is disgusting. I will never go back here ever again. Don’t be fooled by the reviews, these people have never eaten Indian food before.

We came to this restaurant and writing the review from the table in middle of meal and after informing the server. This is the worst palak paneer I have had, the moment it came it looked not fresh and horribly taste. No taste of Palak and we checked with server and her response very disappointing. The oil was flooding the dish and immediately. The water served was not clean and we had to request it be changed. Serving spoons are not served. This is horrible experience and please be careful for your visit.

Everest Masala in Montreal is a standout for lovers of authentic Indian and Nepali cuisine. The restaurant offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual dining experience or a special occasion. The menu is diverse, featuring a range of flavorful curries, tandoori dishes, and traditional specialties like momos (dumplings) and thali platters.

Yusuf was so nice! Gave us an outstanding service come here whenever you are visiting Montreal. Moreover, He didn’t asked for any gratuity or tip! I forced him to take it. He denied several times. My reaction was Shocking WOW 🤯 . As yesterday I visited Bejing Chinese restaurant in Montreal Chinatown they already added tip without any pleasant experience. Kudos to the chefs and Yusuf.

Customers rave about the quality of the food, with many praising the bold spices and fresh ingredients. The butter chicken, lamb curry, and biryani are popular choices, while the momos are a must-try appetizer. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, making it a great choice for different dietary preferences.

Service is friendly, and while the restaurant can get busy, the staff is generally attentive. One downside mentioned occasionally is that the pace of service can be a bit slow during peak times, but the wait is often worth it due to the excellent flavors.

Overall, Everest Masala is highly recommended for anyone craving flavorful Indian or Nepali dishes in Montreal, especially if you're looking for a cozy, authentic spot to enjoy a rich and...

I’ve ordered takeout once and eaten at the restaurant only one time (yesterday). Let me begin by saying that the welcome was a warm and inviting one. The menu contains a variety of choices including vegetarian and vegan options. My request for vegan version of certain meal choice was met without hesitation. The portions are filling and in fact I couldn’t finish mine so I took the rest home. Moreover I ordered an extra meal for my son who said to me today that he felt like he was taken straight back to a moment in time in India because the food is so authentic. The meals are also healthy, and most importantly, they truly are prepared with love. This restaurant will most definitely be my go-to place for Indian food. Love it! 🇮🇳🍚💚 *Don’t skip the Pakoras. They are out of this world. Thank you, Team of Everest Masala Restaurant for your delicious meals ....
