Ferlucci Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Montreal

I went by the coffee shop on Sunday afternoon April 3rd. I noticed an empty table and put my bag on the seat as I waited for the customers in front of me to complete their order. As I waited the barista then told me that the customers were planning on sitting where I put my bag. It was the only spot available so I asked her what she expected me to do considering I had work to do. She first answered “I don’t know” and then told me I should ask the people by the window if I could squeeze in… I honestly did not mind giving away the table I had initially chosen. However as the coffee shop is small, I would’ve appreciated it if the barista helped me find a solution. The same way she asked me to move, I believe she could’ve asked people at other tables to move a bit so I could sit or even ask the customers to share the table with me. I do understand her demand but I felt obligated to leave so other people could enjoy their coffee when I was there for the same reason. I didn’t feel welcomed. It was a bad customer...

The good: -Good service -Cozy and cool retro decor+ nice song selection The above make this place a pleasure to sit in.

The bad: -The food is ok-ish but forgettable. Boulangerie Le Pain dans les Voiles across the street has way better food.

-The latte was ok . Saint-henri's cafe in the jean talon market has slightly better coffee but not as cozy. Café OUI MAIS NON near jerry x saint laurent has better tasting coffee than either and is good for studying, too.

spotty internet

The coffee tasted a bit bitter. Not sure if it's an old roast. Their coffee bean bags have no roast dates on them so you might end up buying a bag of an old bitter roast that was on the shelf for too long. There is no excuse for their supplier not to print out dates which is really the standard from any reputable roaster.

I had to try the famous "Nutella affogato" that was on my list to try and it was soo delicious! 😋 The concept of Soft icecream 🍦 with coffee ☕️ taste pretty interesting !! It is something I don't usually order but had to try and it was yummy even if it's lil pricey but worth to discover something new if you haven't tried it yet!!

I always enjoy eating their pistachio cookie along with the chocolat chip cookie one, it's one of my favorite dessert to order in this coffee place location 🧡🧡🧡

The vibe in here is very decorated in every spot and corner in this store, it's always crowded everytime I visit this coffee place and it's hard to find a seat but they have lots of chairs inside and also outside the store but when I do find a place to sit down, I enjoy ordering their coffee and cookies there!
