I ve ordered Pate kode twice from this place using ubereats. The owner is really nice. He called to let me know they were out of pain patate and i switched for a pate kode griot since it was same price. He was very patient while explaining their pate kode is made in a way that everyone could enjoy it without fear of it being spicy. And true to his word it was NOT spicy but they added some pikliz on the side. Keeping in mind taste is personal here is what i grade their pate kode pate kode hareng 4/5 pate kode morue (i got this the first time i ordered from them) 4/5 pate kode boeuf 4/5 pate kode poulet 4/5 pate kode griot 2/5 i felt personally it was the only one not seasoned well. Again taste is a personal thing.
The presentation of the food was TOP NOTCH. The pikliz was FRESH FRESH FRESH. i think its the best pikliz i have eaten since i started eating haitian food. There was a sauce on the side too that was good though i could not tell what really it was ... I started eating before remembering to take a picture so my picture does not do justice to their food presentation
I wished they find a way for the pate not to open up inside the frying oil because some of mine did as you can tell from the picture and so it was greasy but it was a good good experience overall. I will try their rice meals next...and i cant wait to try...
Read moreWe came here for lunch to encourage this new restaurant in our neighborhood. We sat in the place for a while and made sure to say loudly hello since no one was at the front to welcome guests. We didn't want to be rude so we have waited and starting discussing together hoping that the person in the kitchen will hear us and acknowledge that clients are here and waiting to be served. No one ever came so we left. It's really disappointing and unfortunate because the restaurant seems always empty and we genuinely wanted to be there for out local...
