JARDIN PETROS - Little Italy — Restaurant in Montreal

I had high hopes for this food because it looked amazing, reviews looked good, however, the food and the customer service turned out to be very disappointing.

Before I get into this, I will say that the food was fresh. The salmon texture was great but it could have been seasoned more. The same for the veggies. My favorite part of the order was the potatoes.

I placed an order for two salmon entrees and a side of hummus called fava on Uber Eats (see attached). I received the salmon and an order of "feves de lima" which was $2 more than the fava (see attached). I called the establishment and a man answered. After I explained, he said that he would take a look at the restaurant account on Uber Eats, and thanked me for letting him know. I was stunned. There was no mention of righting the situation. After all, I had simply placed an order for something presented on their Uber Eats account, something they don't even serve at all, according to this man. As I began to ask how things will be rectified, he hung up. I called two more times and there was no answer.

This review is for anyone who cares about good customer service and good food. I know my experience is one of many but trust I don't leave bad reviews unless...

My sister and friend came here for a little catchup dinner session! We went on a Tuesday evening, made reservations just in case, but no worries, there was plenty space. The lighting and ambiance is calm and lovely, great for a more fancy dinner or date!;)

The staff is amazing, provided excellent recommendations and offered us dessert as well! So kind

The wait time was a little long, but manageable.

Us three shared the petros special appetizer and it was so amazing. We loved the tzatziki sauce, and super filling. There was more than enough sauce so we used it as a spread for the breads!!

The presentation of the food is very acceptable and pleasant.

My friend got the minced lamb and she recommends it, super filling and had to bring half of it home because it was so much food!

My sister and I shared the Chicken one, and we also had to bring the remains home:) They gave us these reusable containers!

The chicken was a little bland and ordinary, it didn’t quite hit the spot we were looking for. But it was filling and pleasant nonetheless.

It is in the heart of little Italy, so you can take a walk especially during the winter time with all the lights, and visit...

Permettez-moi de vous parler de l'incroyable découverte que j'ai faite à Montréal récemment : un restaurant grec d'exception qui offre une expérience culinaire inoubliable. Du début à la fin, cette expérience a été un ravissement pour les sens, combinant un service impeccable et une cuisine de qualité extraordinaire.

Dès mon arrivée au restaurant, j'ai été chaleureusement accueilli par un personnel souriant et attentif. Leur professionnalisme et leur connaissance approfondie de la cuisine grecque étaient évidents dès les premiers instants. Ils se sont assurés que chaque détail de mon repas soit parfait, offrant des recommandations judicieuses et répondant avec enthousiasme à toutes mes questions.

Maintenant, parlons de la nourriture. Oh mon Dieu, quel délice ! Chaque bouchée était une explosion de saveurs authentiques qui m'ont transporté directement en Grèce. Les plats étaient préparés avec une attention méticuleuse aux ingrédients frais et de qualité supérieure. Que ce soit les mezze, les souvlakis, les gyros ou les moussakas, chaque plat était parfaitement équilibré, délicieusement assaisonné et présenté avec élégance. J'ai même eu la chance de déguster des spécialités grecques moins connues, et elles se sont révélées être de véritables trésors culinaires.

La qualité des produits utilisés était tout simplement remarquable. Les légumes croquants, les herbes aromatiques fraîches et les fromages savoureux m'ont rappelé que la cuisine grecque est une célébration de la terre et des saveurs naturelles. Chaque ingrédient était utilisé avec soin, et cela se reflétait dans chaque plat exquis que j'ai dégusté.

En résumé, si vous êtes à Montréal et que vous recherchez une expérience culinaire grecque authentique, ne cherchez pas plus loin. Ce restaurant a tout ce que vous recherchez : un personnel accueillant et compétent, ainsi qu'une cuisine grecque de première qualité. Préparez-vous à être transporté dans les rues pittoresques d'Athènes ou de Thessalonique, et laissez-vous envoûter par les saveurs envoûtantes de la Grèce.

Je recommande vivement cet établissement à tous les amoureux de la cuisine grecque et à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir de nouveaux horizons culinaires. Vous ne serez pas déçus...
