Read moreI've been frequenting this restaurant since after covid. When I started going there I loved their falafel, but with time the quality and service went down.
Here are a few issues : Usually they put 3 falafels in a sandwich, last time I went the lady only had 3 left cooked and I ordered 2 sandwiches so she made each sandwich with one and a half falafel, which to me is completely dishonest as I'm not paying for a lettuce sandwich.
Secondly, their vegetables used to be fresh all the time, the last 3-4 times I went they weren't even close to being fresh.
Lastly, I went 2 times where they were supposed to be open but they weren't.
Also, you should be aware that their price of a falafel sandwich is overpriced. It didn't stop me in the past because the food was fresh and good, but now it's not worth it anymore. As a Lebanese-Syrian, Falafel is the street food and is the cheapest food to make, so if you want to price a falafel sandwich at 11-12$, it better be the best falafel there is, which is not the case anymore...
Read moreIncredible vegan food. Found it by chance when we were doing the tourist rounds of Little Italy and the Jean Talon market, which it is very close to. We were so impressed. The food was all extremely delicious, especially the shawarma, and obviously made of high quality plant based ingredients. It is a family business and the owners were so friendly and generous, and clearly proud to be serving outstanding plant based food. The restaurant and food prep areas were also very clean and organized, which I always look for. If we weren't from out of town, this would be a regular stop for us. In fact, we ordered more when we finished because it was our only chance to have it again, and the one person in our group who isn't vegan and planned to eat elsewhere tasted a bite and ended up ordering his own shawarma! Eat here, whether you are vegan or...
