I went there around 10 am on a Tuesday. I got 3 items from this bakery and I to be honest I was expecting a bit more flavour from the products (Ex: the raspberry financier had a half of a raspberry in the whole thing, the vegan cookie for all the ingredients felt kinda flat). The texture was on point, the price was acceptable for what it was. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean and has AC. There’s also a nice seating area outside which is a plus, I’ll have to try different items on the menu before revisiting this review, worth a try in the early morning when items are at their best.

This danish shared too many similarities with actual people from Denmark (pale, greasy and covered in alarming red spots - freckles) and too few with the pastry we all know and love. A good danish is foremost characterized by a balancing act between the multi layered doughs supple crispiness and savory breadiness, where the former should have the upper hand over the latter. This pastry instead nearly completely lacked crispiness; it was like eating a piece of loaf, with custard smeared on top. A swing and a miss, in other words. The cortado was passable, however.

Brought home a lemon pie because the price was quite good. It was a disaster pie. The meringue was not cooked enough and there was too much. The crust was bleh and a little overcooked. And the thin layer of lemon curd was actually awful. It tasted like chemicals and was not at all lemony sour. Even if all other elements failed, get the curd right. Please change your lemon pie or take it off the menu. I will say that the staff was kind and the bread seems fine.

I went in for a chocolatine and a coffee.

Chocolatine was a bit pale, and not as flaky on the outside as I like. Coffee was nothing special compared to what you get in the many great cafés here in Little Italy.

Service was fine - young people doing their job - nothing extra. They have a 30 second interaction and then onto the next in line. I think it is possible to do better. I think the service is more personal with greater connection at Froment et de sève on Beaubien/Casgrain.

Still in my opinion as far as bread goes, still the best bakery in the local area. Maybe I prefer the chocolatines from Automne on Beaubien/Christophe Colomb.

The interior is pretty plain/clean/plastic/concrete/fake-wood. Not a cozy place to drink coffee, but it is primarily a bakery, that sells bread-to-go, so all good.

I think sometimes businesses can get caught up in the idea that everything is good.

I think there is room for improvement to stay at the top...

I have been a fan of Louise for years. When I am in little italy I always make it a point to stop by Today however I had a horrible experience. I was in line waiting to be served but when it came to my turn the girl went straight to the guy behind me because it was obvious it was someone she knew! I was patient and decided that I would be next. Well it seems I might have been invisible today because they served the second person behind me. They basically just ignores me waiting there staring at them waiting to be served! I could have caused a seen but I didn’t I just left and went somewhere else to fill my $240 order Will I go back to Louise? No. I think customer service is really important , obviously this doesn’t exist at Louise. I won’t be back. Will go somewhere else where people will acknowledge...

All our family members love to buy our favorite breads and croissants from this well-known bakery. They make their breads and croissants with distinct and unique ingredients. There is no comparison among theirs, Tim Horton's & Cosco's qualitywise. One event happened about 4 months ago. My daughter was heading to Calgary to visit my son and daughter-in-law. Learning that my son is crazy about the croissants from Louise Boulangerie, she decided to get 12 croissants from this bakery to bring there. But it happened out of 12, 6 were super burnt & uneatable. MY wife and my daughter were very disappointed. I went to explain this case to the management about one week later and then the boss handled the case nicely with class. A VERY RESPECTFUL AND LOVELY STORE. ...
