My first visit at Johnny’s dated back to August 9th and since then, i’ve returned about 3-4 times- the most recent being last night, September 2nd. I’ve always enjoyed my time there, as the staff are friendly and the overall atmosphere is laidback. The barmaid did check up on us twice during the 2 hours we stayed there, in order to make sure that we were having a good time. She did so by casually and kindly asking us if everything was alright, which I really appreciated because she never rushed us or made us feel pressured to order more (making us feel more inclined to do so anyways, as we were having a good time and were aware of the “each person buys a drink for every hour of pool played.”) Throughout our stay, my cousins and I ordered two rounds of drinks, along with two dishes- all of which tasted pretty good. In terms of cost, i’d have to say that their prices are very reasonable and therefore, no complaints about that or anything at all, matter of fact. All in all, my classmates/friends and family have all expressed that they would return and undoubtedly so, myself included.

Id say this bar is okay to come too although it's not my go to unless I want to play a quick game of pool and get out. I've noticed that they rush you with your drink when it comes to playing pool as they claim pool is free if you buy a drink. Some nights they leave you alone and some they don't. Overall it's okay, plenty of pool tables to go around. I've never had to reserve a table since I've been going there. Drink prices pretty average compared to other bars.

If you want a fun time playing pool just buy a beer and pool is gratuit. A lot of screens for sport minded. As well they have a kitchen, with fair priced menu. Tuesday they have a chicken wing special, and each Saturday night there is a band and dancing is at your pleasure. The washrooms are very clean. Parking is a hugh Shopping Centre. Come on in and takein hockey and a cool one!

So we went inside we got a pool table we were there for less than 30 minutes and then we're about to leave. Security guard comes and says that we have to pay $25 because we played pool for less than 30 minutes. He says that that's the rules if you don't buy a drink you have to pay for the the time that you play pool. Okay that's no problem but if we were advised at first it would have been a different situation we would have probably bought some drinks to enjoy. But the security guy ACT like he owns the place and lectures the bartender in front of clients which I find that was unprofessional. Been going there ever since they open and I never had an issue. I am just highly disappointed about the service even though that we were there for less than 30 minutes and if it was a rule that we have to buy a drink to play pool, we should have had a waiter or bartender come and see us to see if we needed something to drink. Like the security guy says that it he gave a warning to the bartender but at the same time his interactions with clients is definitely not satisfying. I told the security guard that I've been coming here for years and this was not the case because every time I usually come I do buy drinks so therefore I understand his point of view but he should not point out "oh well if you've been coming here for years you should know how it works".

The girls were very understanding and trying to explain the situation but at the end of the day customer service is what's important and that was not met.

Just be aware that you're going to have to pay $25 per hour to play pool even if you don't buy anything to drink

At this point not RECOMMENDED there is other billboards where you can go for cheaper price and enjoy your night without a person trying to find a fault in you and...

I arrived at this bar and ordered a $7 beer. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it and had to leave because it was getting late. As I was heading out, the bouncer stopped me, yelling that I couldn’t take my drink outside. His tone was so aggressive that I initially thought he was joking and asked, 'Are you serious?' without any hint of rudeness. What happened next was shocking—he got up from his chair, becoming even more hostile and aggressive, shouting about the potential fine he could face if I took the drink outside. His behavior was completely out of line, and I genuinely believe he may have been under the influence of something. I left feeling extremely shaken and nearly in tears. The owner seriously needs to reassess their choice of bouncer.

As a 19-year-old girl who’s only 5'2", it was genuinely terrifying to see this grown man getting so close to me and my friends like he was going to hit us. This bar isn’t as chaotic as those on Saint Laurent, so I can’t understand why he was acting so impatient, as if he had been dealing with trouble all day. Honestly, this place usually attracts friendly customers, so there’s no reason to have such an...

We were there for four hours with a group of friends, playing pool, having a drink and eating.

At some point, the night bouncer came in. Before he did, we all had pleasurable exchanges with all staff members throughout the night.

As we were about to leave and my boyfriend went to the bar with our pool balls in a rack to give it back to the bar tender.

The bouncer automatically singled him out and started harrassing him, threatening him and being racist towards him.

My boyfriend left the balls, came back to our friend group and we all got ready to line up, pay our bills and leave.

While we were waiting for our friends to pay their bills, we were talking amongst ourselves and the bouncer charged back and started losing it on my boyfriend, to the point where we all felt unsafe and I had to interject, trying to calm the bouncer down.

He was calling us racists and saying he was going to call people to beat us up. We couldn’t place a word in or try to diffuse the situation without him screaming on top of us threatening us and getting overly aggressive.

We ended up leaving before he got physical.

This guy needs to be fired. He is a loose cannon...
