Joyo Burger - Wellington — Restaurant in Montreal

Super excited to go try out this place as I’ve heard so much of them on social media, plus with all the Joyo Burger ads that FB has been showing, I decided to finally go visit on November 3rd, after seeing a post about their soft opening event. Upon arrival at around 6:30PM, it was such a disappointment, wow the restaurant was completely dark. It was not even open yet. I get it, the opening days may have been delayed due to inconveniences but please do not display false advertising on social media. first time here was during their soft opening, and I fell in love with their Brie mushroom burger! The mushrooms were juicy and the Brie was perfectly melted. the customer service was excellent as well! during my second visit, a few weeks later, I was quite disappointed as I ordered the same burger but it was lukewarm at most. The Brie wasn’t melted at all and I could tell my burger bun hadn’t even been heated up (see pics). I went around 9pm so maybe they were getting ready to close but it was still a sad burger compared to what I had the first time. Tip: don’t order from them...

This is one of the worst smash burgers I’ve ever had - the meat is dry and under seasoned so it has no taste. They put half a slice of cheese on each patty so most bites are just flavourless, dry meat. Service is inattentive and forgot to make my milkshake and when I asked, he apologized and said he would make it immediately, only to serve a group of 3 that walked in AND then pack up an Uber driver’s order who just walked in. Got my shake after I was completely done eating this dry, tasteless burger and after going in a second time to ask for it. ...
