I wasn't able to get a table for dine-in at Sushi Momo (they were fully booked!), but luckily they have a takeout counter next door called Komomo. I'd definitely rate it 5 stars. Everything was so artfully presented (even from a takeout box lol) and luscious. Prices are reasonable. If you get a combo (appetizers + sushi + dessert), it comes to 25-30$ per person. Brownie points because all their containers are recyclable and compostable - woohoo!

Read moreWaited 145 minutes for our food. The initial email said 100 minutes. I don't mind waiting 145 minutes, the issue is asking customers to wait outside in the cold, surrounded by others. I STRONGLY SUGGEST to the manager/owner (Based on my experience ordering at other local and competent restaurants) updates 1) the estimated wait time sent via email so that you don't have 40 people lining up outside your restaurant. 2) Draw or tape lines on the sidewalk with 2 meter spacing so that we are not waiting in a disorganized mess. 3) DO NOT give samples while people are waiting. This is incredibly unsanitary during a PANDEMIC! 3) Tell your hostess to wear a mask and follow physical distancing rules. She was standing mere feet away from customers taking down their names. 4) Make sure customers are following physical distancing rules! APART from the awful, disorganized, unsafe customer service, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, in the last order I found a hair within one of the sushi pieces... obviously before being suspicious I ensured that wasn't mine and by the color and lengh it was definitely not mine... I called to at least inform them but I was too discussed that I don't personally plan to order from that place in the future. Also I was disappointed that no call back from manager for a follow-up since... Even though I don't need them to offer me anything, this wont change my mind but at least take the moment to acknowledge the incident and ensure they will take corrective actions to avoid such situations...
