L'Œufrier (Lachine) — Restaurant in Montreal

I have come here about 10 times and today was so so disappointing. we usually get the same waitress who has an amazing memory for orders, makes recommendations, etc. today we walked in around noon and were led to the back , seated in an obvious very busy part of the restaurant which surprised me. it took a bit to be served which is no big deal, this waitress took our order with ipad, and to boot , my order was wrong . i have to order gluten free and had the same order i always have except today it was not only wrong but an avocado toast the size of my palm and a poached egg the size of a quarter. the order was returned ( bacon instead of sausage) but it honestly felt like the waitress never even tried to make eye contact. i had a hard time flagging her for the error, stood on our head for the coffee refill and for 3 breakfasts at 80$ so disappointed. it has become my go to breakfast place but...

I wasn’t super hungry therefore I just wanted a simple breakfast with coffee. The place was super busy. Our waitress was lovely and friendly. I ordered a avocado toast (super delicious and beautifully presented) and cup of coffee. I asked not to serve the side dish which is fruits or salad. Guess what, I was still charged full price. My two friends ordered an omelette sandwich with breakfast potatoes, which she liked and the other one had a smoothie bowl but it was like a soup. My friend was disappointed. Not impressed with this place. The last time my boyfriend and I ate there we waited over 40 minutes for our food and they brought me the wrong plate. In the end I was so hungry I just decided to eat it. We just ordered take out from there and the food arrived ice cold, the bacon was nearly raw, toast undercooked and the eggs were broken in the container. The portions were also significantly smaller than what you would get in the restaurant. Currently recooking everything in the oven. Should have just made breakfast at home!
