5/5 Service (Friendly&Fast) 4/5 Atmosphere (Very tight seating) 3/5 Food (Mediocre food) Place was packing around 1 a clock on a Friday. Around 16~20 tables maintained by 2 servers. Was seated quickly compared to how busy it was. Time of order to food being served was amazingly fast as well. Both servers were very friendly and quick. Downside was the Duck Confit Eggs Benedict. This was my 2nd time trying one and it was awful compared to my first experience at L'avenue. Something about the Hollandaise sauce gave a bitter after taste and the Duck Confit that wasn't covered in sauce near the edge was cold. The duck itself has no real taste aswell. Everything else was okay although I would not recommend getting the sausage if you do not like a very soft mushy texture.

L’Oeufrier (NDG) totally blew me away. You walk in and right away it just feels good—super warm, welcoming energy. The staff? Amazing. So friendly, you can tell it’s a family-run place where people actually care. None of that fake hospitality—just real kindness and good vibes. T he food. Absolutely hit the spot. That plate had everything—crispy bacon, juicy sausage, perfect sunny-side-up eggs, and those potatoes? Unreal. But the real showstopper was that Nutella crepe with the strawberry on top—looked amazing, tasted even better. It’s the kind of meal that makes you stop mid-bite and go, “okay… this is really good.” Everything was fresh, hot, and made with love. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every bite.

What a very nice family run business! With so many options to satisfy anyone's picky way of eating! So I was very impressed to have different Tabasco sauce to choose from or taste with different types of food. not sure if all of the ovaries are like this but this place definitely has its special little touches like the small spoon in my coffee it looks like a hockey stick just works perfectly. See the photos! I spoke with I think was the owner and she was extremely friendly and happy to present me her daughter, as I was having news New year Day brunch with my daughter in 2 Japanese visitors! All of us enjoyed our meals. Will go back I try something new.

Sorry, hate leaving negative reviews but this one has to be posted. Should be zero stars... Asked for an omelet to NOT be overcooked, I explained that I do not know the term (if there is one) for an omelet to be cooked but not brown. I stated over and over, please, it can not be browned (for me, i do not like the taste when the eggs are overcooked - i do not order omelets usually because they are usually done this way) Order arrives, and, it is overcooked, it is mostly brown. The (sweet) waitress, maybe it was her fault for not explaining it to the cook but she tried...she offered to have them re-do it but at that point, pressed for time, i said no, its fine, I don't want it.. The cook/owner/manager? (didn't identify) comes out at the end of the meal, wife had just finished hers, and saw that the plate was untouched, offered to cook another (thanks but not at this point, lunch is over, no time and I already turned down the offer from the waitress) He explained that I need to order it "normal" next time to have it cooked the way I like.... good to know i guess Bill comes, and of course, the plate is charged... the poor waitress was apologizing, she couldn't do anything about it... I mentioned to her, go see what you can do, if you can get it taken off, I will give you the price of the plate as an additional tip (20$) She returns with the bad news that i was getting charged for it... and she offered to GIVE ME $$$ to pay for it, from her pocket... how sweet is that? If she is reading, maybe you should work somewhere else,... it was an amazing gesture to offer... that is someone who cares. I would help find you some work if you need....

TLDR; Food not good, charged for plate that was not as...

I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I very rarely write reviews but my experience yesterday was so horrible that I felt compelled to write one. I went there with my boyfriend on July 11, 2020 for brunch to take my brother out my brother for his birthday. My boyfriend and I were not so hungry and we wanted to share a plate. The waitress (Christine) told us no sharing because of COVID-19 they have limited capacity and no sharing is not allowed. I asked her if it’s ok then to order one of their more expensive plates which was the exact same cost as two of their smaller plates so for them it is actually a better deal because we would pay for less food with same the cost. She began screaming at me and said, “I told you no sharing, I’m going to put a sign on the wall that says no sharing” she was now yelling and people next to us started looking. I should have left the restaurant right there and then but I stayed and tried not to make it uncomfortable for my brother and boyfriend. I am an avid restaurant goer and this was the first time in my life that someone was this insulting and rude. I understand that COVID-19 has taken its toll on the businesses but this is not an excuse to behave the way she did. She was extremely rude and insulting and I Just wanted not to waste food and share a meal which cost wise made no difference to the restaurant. I will never go there again obviously. The food itself tastes ok....

I rearely share my comments online.

Had to say it was not really a pleasant experience at this branch resto. food was ok, service was.... maybe too busy at noon?

First, no menu given to the table, then the clients who came after me got the food earlier. Waiter (owner)told me it will be ready soon, yet you can see my plate was prepared 10 mins after this promise, through the kitchen door.

When the food was ready on table, no folks and knife were served.

I waited for a while and asked for the ustencil then started to eat.

Only at this time, the waiter (owner) will show up and ask if everything is ok. and also efficient for asking if I'm finish. (there're still fruits in my plate)

Only one girl did care and helped me with her heart and real human smile. I guess some tasks that she helped me, were even not her responsibility. Her warm attitude was way more important.

the feeling eating there, was like "even if they lost one client, it wouldn't be bothered".

Maybe I'm just too drama. 😎 Or maybe just my perfectionism as I used to be a waiter as well. which gave me a bit reflexion here 🙏🌱

Food was ok. ...
