Le Cristal Chinois — Restaurant in Montreal

I've been searching for great BBQ Duck and Pork for years, I thought the days of BBQ Ducks hanging in the window were long gone, but no there still is a place! Le Crystal BBQ has FANTASTIC BBQ DUCK! The skin is crispy and the meat tender and juicy but not greasy. Their BBQ Pork is equally delicious. The dinning room is nothing much to speak of but who cares? The staff is very cheerful and helpful. Definitely worth a drive over to VSL for take-out.

TakeOut Special Whole Duck for $22 and BBQ...

I've ordered from here many times. Each costing more than $60. Normally, meat is fresh but this time it was unacceptable and not edible. I called the restaurant to advise and nothing was done about it. If your specialty is chinese BBQ, you need to make sure that your meat is fresh every time. If I lived closer, I would bring you back your food and given it to you to eat. You lost a loyal client. Thanks...

I tasted the restaurant part of it. Nothing special. Bland. The other part of the restaurant sells cooks meats such as chicken, pork, duck. I ordered half a duck to bring home.
