We ordered the Seared Tuna and the Pacific Crunch salads, both were fresh and flavorful, and we enjoyed the food overall. However, the experience was let down by the service. We came on a Sunday evening specifically intending to use the $50 gift cards we had purchased that same day for our meal. We were already a little nervous about visiting this location, as we had noticed it only had a 3.8-star rating on Google compared to other Mandy’s locations, which are rated four stars and above. Unfortunately, our experience confirmed some of those concerns. After ordering, we were told at the cashier that they were having issues processing gift cards and, as a result, we couldn’t use them. This was very disappointing. Given that the issue was on their end, we believe it would have been reasonable for the staff to accept the gift cards and sort out the processing problem internally afterward. The staff did take my contact information and said they would try to find a solution, but in the end, we had to pay with our credit card and leave with the gift cards unused. While the food was good, the lack of flexibility and follow through on the service side left a poor impression.

The Team is so friendly and give really good recommendations. It is quiet and the perfect spot for an amazing delicious and special salat. Worth every dollar. 🤍💛

While the salads have always tasted good and continue to, the portions have been drastically reduced for the same prices. Got the same custom bowl I’ve always gotten, half base quinoa and half kale. Unfortunately most of the salad was kale, I could barely taste the quinoa which made it a lot less filling. Also, I feel like if im going to pay 6$ for grilled chicken to be added, I’d prefer to have at least one full scoop in there, sad to say I am disappointed. Couldn’t taste the sweet potato I had ordered in it as there was so little. Also, ordered a mix of GG and temari but was only told after paying there was no more GG dressing:/ I would have been a lot happier had they told me beforehand so I could have ordered delivery from another location perhaps. I swear I’m not a particularly picky person and used to really like this locale! But for 35$ you kind of want your moneys worth(I know in the photos I had mixed it but trust me I mixed that salad rly well and it’s still mostly kale) giving 2 stars bc the employees were nice

I simply cannot recommend this location and particularly advise anybody with food sensitivities or health issues to avoid this location entirely. If you can, go to literally any other one. Twice now, they’ve given me the wrong dressing. The first time, they tried to pass it off knowing full well they had gotten it wrong, but luckily I overheard them saying that “green goddess dressing pesto is basically the same thing” to each other, so I was able to intervene. I know it seems dramatic to be upset about a dressing error but I explained that due to a medical condition (not an allergy) I can’t have certain ingredients in pesto and chose green goddess for a reason. It shouldn’t take me accidentally overhearing their conversation and having to disclose a medical issue for them to take the 5 seconds to get the order right. And no, it wasn’t a busy night at all.

The second time, tonight, I didn’t check having faith that it was a lapse in judgment the first time. Clearly, I was wrong to put my trust in the staff (same people as last time too) because they gave me pesto again. I had ordered with another person so we were able to swap our dressings at home when we noticed. But it shouldn’t come to that especially when I’m paying about $30 total for a salad.

This ongoing experience has been so disappointing as I’m a huge fan of Mandy’s and love their food, cookbooks and grocery items but I simply cannot risk eating here again when their staff seemingly do not care about getting orders right. How many other customers health and safety have they put at risk for the same ongoing mistake? Unless it’s personally malicious, I can’t imagine that I’m...

I really loved Mandy’s. But now I unfortunately have to rate them 1 star. I was pressed for time today and wanted something quick and healthy. I was getting ready for work so delivery was the smart thing to do to save time. On Foodora they said they were closed but on Google Maps it said open, so I called. The girl answers and I explain that I want to order online but that the app said that they’re closed, that I wanted to know if I could just place an order by phone and pick it up on the way to work. She then proceeds to tell me that they don’t accept phone orders and that I must use the app. Even after I explain the issue and that I did in fact try and order with the app, she just kept repeating “We don’t take phone orders anymore, use the app”. Like I get it, you have a protocol to follow, but when a customer is having issues and needs help, and its a one-of-a-kind issue that usually doesn’t happen, I would expect a local Montreal business to be nice and helpful and not give me a big corporation-type answer. The employee even asked me if my app was up to date and to uninstall/reinstall it, even tho all my apps and iOS are updated and I have a brand new iPhone. Anyway, a total disappointment, considering that their salads can be pricey (the one I usually get is $18) so I was expecting some class and understanding with the issue. Its not like I refused to use the app, I tried to and ITS NOT WORKING SO CAN I GET SOME HELP? I GUESS NOT JEEZ. Out of principle, never again. I work at Starbucks and we seem to have a better work ethic than this. She could’ve asked her superior or checked to see if the app was in fact online...

Visited the Laurier location of Mandy’s twice last week, and twice the week before. I am excited to say that I’ve found my new favourite go to lunch spot. The Staff has been incredibly friendly, professional and made my order perfectly every time I’ve been there. Not only were the salads I got so delicious, they’re a great value for such a good sized portion. All the ingredients were so fresh, it surprised me how fresh and actually flavourful all the vegetables were compared to most salads I typically buy (I get salads on my lunch break almost everyday of the week!). I also have some food sensitivities and the servers were able to answer all my questions on all the different toppings and dressings offered, which was so helpful. The atmosphere here is comfortable, clean and relaxed, and I’m so excited that this location is a 5 minute walk from my work, because I will certainly be a very frequent customer there from now on (as in, all the workers will soon know me on a first name basis). I only leave reviews if I’ve had a really great or really poor experience somewhere, and my experiences at this Mandy’s location have been so great I can easily say it’s my new favourite lunch spot, for so many reasons... me and my co-workers already have plans to go there for lunch tomorrow, and since we have been trying to eat healthier since the new year, finding a really great place for this is fantastic news. Thank you to the Laurier staff for being so great, so refreshingly friendly and truly making the days I visited better. Looking forward to my...
