Manzo Pizzeria — Restaurant in Montreal

I went for a COVID 19 test on Thursday, February 11, 2021, and I was awaiting my results and quarantining at home. I called Manzo and submitted my order. Following this, I explained to them that I was self isolating and awaiting my test results. I explained to them that I had a cough but no other symptoms. They assured me that they would take all precautions in order to keep myself and themselves safe. Above all, their service was spectacular! I did not feel diseased, disrespected or plagued. Instead I felt like a human being! I was treated with such kindness and respect that it prompted me to write this review. In a time where we all must practice social distancing and exercise extreme caution, I am pleased by the great respect that I was shown by Manzo restaurant. On February 13, 2021, I tested negative for Covid 19.

Thank you Manzo for the most pleasant and understanding experience! Thank you for helping me to take all the necessary steps to keep both myself and your staff safe!!! I applaud you for this...

Great steak sub on pizza dough! 20$ for 14"... I had a chance to fully experience the steak steak and extra cheese sub. So I'm going to do some nit-picking! You know when you order a pizza and you say extra cheese. And you pull it away- it has that long string of cheese? When I typically order a steak sub I always order extra cheese and 7 out 10 times I get that same effect with a sub. Was it here? No sorry it wasn't... was the sub good. Sure it was good but not amazingly moist with that cheesy goodness . Another thing, is the bread ( baked in advance and then kept on the side until someone places an order?) This is a question I had asked myself as I felt it wasn't that same freshly baked feeling. Regardless the sub was Good 👍 but I think I'll need to personalize it the next time. I used to drive from Laval at least once a month with my family, for many years to get their subs. No other place like this on the island and in the suburbs. But they have substancially reduced the size of their subs and it really going to hurt their business. Customers shouldn't be taken for granted. Despite their deserved reputation, they should stay honest and keep their standards. Good quality, used to be consistent in taste and size, rough service, no manners. Now I go there twice a year, instead of every months, and I don't recommend it any longer. I don't like to be cheated with size and portion. 5 stars for taste - 2 stars for standards - 0 stars for courtesy...
