So for the past few years my wife and I thought we found our go to place for pizza which was Stella. Although we do love Stella and we would recommend it to everyone, we have found a little gem on Jean Talon. Antoine the owner makes one of the best pizzas I have ever had......and I have had a lot all over the world. He ingredients are so fresh and the flour he uses is amazing. His Margherita pizza is the best I have had. Every time I leave there this wonderful after taste stays with me and I just want to turn around and pound a few more pies. He isn't interested in mass production and focuses on every single pizza. Absolutely love this place. If you are from out of town and want to taste a great pie thats all made with love and not fluffed out then try this place. Read moreI fell in love with this place for its puffy light crust and its great taste and ingredient balance. Last couple of times I went however it was pretty bad. The crust has been less puffy and they have been adding salt and pepper which has no business on an Italian pizza imo. They also added way too much olive oil. It needs a drizzle, not a whole pizza oil flooding. Can't even taste the subtlety of the fresh ingredients anymore. I'm kinda sad because I know they can make a fantastic well balanced product, I don't get why they have been butchering it into a greasy salt and pepper mess lately. I can get overly greasy, salty and pepery food for 5 $ almost anywhere, I don't visit an expensive Italian pizza place...
