Well what can I say about this pizza place? Let me start by saying that the decor is AMAZING. Sadly, things go downhill fast from there. Me and my cousin were planning on going to Paulo & Suzanne to have one of their famous poutines. He spotted Niko's pizza and mistook it for Pizza Nikko in the west island. Regardless, after looking at all the positive reviews online, he said we should try it, even though I told him the place looks empty and that's usually a bad sign. I wish I had listened to my instincts.
When I asked the counter person what's their best item on the menu, he said everything- with an attitude, as if I had insulted him. Relax, dude. We ordered a cheese pizza since it's a pizza place and a poutine. When the pizza came, I took one look at it and smiled and realized we've been had. It literally looked like one of those frozen pizzas you buy at Costco for about a third of the price, and it tasted like one. As for the poutine, the fries looked burnt and tasted as such. I make a much better poutine- and way cheaper.
But I have to say that the poutine sauce and pizza sauce tasted very good. So the chef is good but the cooks are bad. I don't like leaving bad reviews but this restaurant was so bad that you really have no other choice. Next time, it's Paulo & Suzanne all the way. Or else no...
Read moreâïž 1 Star Review: This is the last time Iâll buy pizza from here. It seems like if youâre an old customer, they donât care anymore. The pizza was all bread with barely any ingredients. I ordered the âSpecial Pizza Niko 1â for $30, but what I got looked and tasted like a cheap pizza. The quality has dropped so much compared to the first time I ordered. Honestly, I could only eat one slice and ended up giving the rest to my neighbor. Very disappointed.
Ps:
I used to order from this place very often, but Iâve noticed the quality keeps getting worse each time. Now itâs definitely my last time ordering from them. The pizza is basically just bread with very few ingredients â theyâre trying to feed you with bread only! Iâm really disappointed
The quality keeps getting worse every time. It seems like when youâre a new customer, they give you a great pizza to make you come back. But once you become a loyal client, they treat you with poor quality. Thatâs exactly how they make their money â by impressing you the first time, then cutting corners afterward. My last pizza was mostly bread with almost less ingredients. This is definitely the last time Iâll order from them. Cheap and poor quality. They cheated on their clients. The quality is not the same anymore .Very...
Read moreWe decided to order from this restaurant given that it delivered to our hotel in St Laurent. We ordered a few different meals (e.g., souvlaki, salmon, hamburgers, salad, etc.). The food was tasty and definitely worth the price! They also included dinner rolls which was a nice surprise. The hamburger patty was a little thinner than I expected but what it lacked in size it made up for in taste. They also got all of our customizations right so that was greatly appreciated.
The fries were delivered in a box with no holes/vents so the fries were a bit soggy when we received them; however, the fries still tasted good so that was a welcome surprise. The souvlaki and salmon were also tasty, while the vegetables were just okay imo. The onion rings were out of this world good! I wish I had bought one for myself rather than splitting it amongst my family (at least now I know for next time).
The Greek salad was also good (although as a cheese lover I would have preferred more feta on the salad). My only complaint was although we ordered several items for five people they only sent us 3 dinner rolls (we had to split 2 rolls so everybody could get a piece). Other than that, I enjoyed the food here and would definitely order again if I'm ever in...
