In general, had a bummer of an experience.

Waited 35 minutes from getting there to getting the food. I had ordered for takeout because there weren’t any seats available around the counter. (Turns out there’s additional seating around which would have been pleasant to know.) Paid about 60$ including tax and tip. Here’s where things went wrong. It was around 6pm and they were already out of one of the three pasta dishes and couldn’t do another one to go (seemed odd for a counter concept). So, I had one option + an extra off menu one. I ordered both available options. Waited 20 some minutes to receive the food but one of the pastas was missing. So I went back, to find out that that one item had never been punched. Mistakes happen, maybe the guy at the counter misheard me or whatever. In my eyes, the staff members seemed unbothered and unapologetic though. So overall I had: 25$ for a pasta, 14$ for a zucchini flower appetizer and 7$ for a bottle of water, 15% tax and 15% tip.

The food was okay but not worth the price. The 3 fried zucchini flowers were fried but not stuffed and served with mayo. They were fairly bland. Same for the pasta; very small portion for 25$ and bland once again.

Generally, there is a lot of room for improvement in the ordering process and for the food itself. But I personally will not be back, which is unfortunate because I’d been wanting to try the food for...

So this is a spot I’ve driven by a few times and kept saying “we really need to try it”. And finally did.

Let’s start by saying as soon as we pushed open the door we were immediately greeted and by such a nice man (who I feel awful I don’t remember his name)! SO kind. And welcoming. We immediately felt like we had been there before.

The menu was not huge BUT clearly for a great reason. We went for 3 pasta plates (yes, 3… gluttony at its finest), the ravioli, the bolognese and the pesto. The pesto - i overheard it was made with almonds, but maybe ask. We Shared everything, BUT admittedly it was super hard not to hog the ravioli, to be fair the other pasta dishes were equally as top notch!

OH and we ordered a fennel salad that totally surprised me…I love fennel, but never had it in a creamy salad situation … so good!! It was mixed with maybe dill and lots of parm. Perfection.

Also for the wine lovers - there was a pretttiiiiiiiii decent selection.

Itsa small space, we sat in the window and got to watch the street action, which added to the charm. They also have a little patio out front - and a huge park across the street. Pasta Picnic anyone?

Perfect spot for a bite with a friend or two. Also maybe the next door was for large groups? A++++ will definitely dream of...

I had heard about this restaurant, but I ended up being a bit disappointed. There aren’t many pasta options, although the terrace and the surroundings are quite cute. Our waitress was lovely, but the young cook inside with the tattoos was extremely arrogant. When our dishes arrived, I asked if we could have some salt. He replied, “What? But you haven’t even tasted it yet,” and then burst into laughter. Everyone at the table and even the waitress looked uncomfortable. Fine, I decided to ignore it, thinking it wasn’t worth making a scene.

At the end of the meal, he came back to ask if everything was good, but in a mocking tone: “So? Pepper, salt?” and then turned to me with, “Did you like it in the end? See, you didn’t need salt after all?” I told him I found his comments inappropriate and that it was uncomfortable to address customers like that. He laughed again and said something like, “Oh come on, it’s just a little interaction.”

I honestly don’t understand why he treats customers as if they’re his friends, but I found his attitude completely out of line. I still left a 15% tip because our waitress was wonderful, but I truly hope I’m the last person who has to deal with something like that from him. And to top it all off, I never even...

This pasta place is new, so it’s no surprise that it’s clean and well-maintained. The decor is visually appealing, and the gnocchi and ravioli were tasty. However, there were several issues that left me disappointed. The pricing felt high for what we got. We paid $67 (including tax and an 18% pre-added tip) for two small pasta dishes and a bottle of water. The portions were noticeably smaller than average for dishes like gnocchi and ravioli, leaving us still hungry. The restaurant is also quite small, with limited seating and no place to hang coats or bags. I noticed hygiene concerns: the cooks weren’t wearing hairnets, and the server held our full plates at chest level while talking to another staff member, which felt unprofessional. After we finished, I handed over the empty dishes, but there was no acknowledgment or even a “thank you.” While the food was good, the high prices, small portions, cramped space, hygiene lapses, and lackluster service made the experience underwhelming for a new restaurant.
