First time I was there Pizza was okay though it wasn't that hot, second time I was there the cheese tasted funny and at first I regretted my purchase then I got used to the cheese flavour, and the crust was crispy so It was edible. After asking a few times for the woman at the cash to push the button so I could use the washroom, the man in the back finally asked her to push the button so she finally pushed it and it worked. It felt like she was playing power games with me but could have been language barrier though her English didn't seem that bad. First time I was there I didn't feel that safe in and outside the restaurant, after reading apology I tried this place again. First time I was there a guy was staring at me through the window and when I looked up from my phone he left. Another guy was walking around the restaurant asking for spare change and startled me from behind. Outside, there was another guy chasing a woman and someone else was yelling at him and I think he then phoned the police. The first time I was there pizza was okay but the ambience felt disturbing, the second time I was there the ambience was better and the pizza took some getting used to. Both times there were a lot of crumbs on the tables. The second time I was there they gave me a flyer where I won 50% off French fries but I was told to read the directions on the back and contact someone. They sure didn't seem to value your time or privacy there. I have now made a point not going to the establishments where they force you to beg several times for them to push the button to open the bathroom door especially when your request is being ignored while server apologizes to another customer as if you are a lower class person making noise instead of a paying customer who is not only being inconvenienced but possibly mocked, which is depressing and humiliating. The bathroom button issue ruined the experience and the owners must know the risk when they design such a system expecting a clerk to be able to discretely multitask. Another problem is a person might not know that they have to ask staff to push a button and assume someone is in the bathroom, and as another poster said someone could actually be in the bathroom since you can't lock the door from inside, or it seems that way, if the whole bathroom experience feels like a possible assault to your human dignity, it might be true. This neighborhood on the East side of St. Catherine is pretty run down and no wonder many posters on trip advisory give it a 1 even though it is technically a tourist destination, it isn't much fun, rather expensive for what you get and there are so many better touristy neighborhoods to visit where you are treated with respect...
Read moreA woman had stolen my debit card st McDonald's and immediately started making purchases to all the stores as it was showing up on my phone. One of her purchases was at pizza pizza which was only a block away. We ran to the store to try and find her with no luck. I described the person to the person working there and he said yes she just went to the pharnaprix to go buy something and will be right back to get her pizza. We asked him if she showed up before the police if he could stall her for a bit and he agreed without any hesitation. The girl showes up to get her pizza and i watched him tell her it would only be a few minutes until it was ready to stall her. Luckily it worked as the police were also ready and they arrested her and her bf. They were able to search them and then found drugs on them. I can't mention his name online for his privacy and security, but id sincerely like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped me out with no hesitation even when i was putting you in an awkward situation. So i hope you read this post and a job well done for me and for your store. I will continue to support your store not only for your kindness but because the pizza ia damn good...
Read moreI ordered online and went to wait there. Told the employees working that I had ordered online and they said okay.
After about 30 minutes the girl working comes out from around the counter and starts saying I need to leave or make an order. I showed her the app screen confirming my order and told her multiple times that I had made an order when she seemed to refuse even glancing at my phone. I also asked if I could order at the counter instead if it didn't go through. She just kept talking over me. She wasn't hearing any of it, and insisted I was sitting there to steal their wifi.
I feel humiliated, there were tons of people in the restaurant and she was very loud. I sent an email to complain and they gave me a 10$ credit which I never used because I didn’t feel comfortable going back. Undoubtedly the absolute worst food service experience I have had in Montreal so far.
Also, the chicken bites here are bone-dry as compared to the Pointe aux Trembles location. Really disappointing. I think it’s the worst Pizza Pizza location...
