Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Montreal

It is hard to believe a pizza place unable to cook a pizza once let alone twice.

This order happened friday , we wanted something easy for dinner and decided to try pizza pizza as it had been some time since our last order. We placed an order for some well done pizzas with pepperoni and cheese, along with some bread and sauces. The order arrived without the bread and sauces, where the one delivery decided it was appropriate to swear at his colleague over the phone about not telling him about it. Though the bill does show what we ordered, so i question why he would need to be told. He assured me that he would be back with the order shortly.

If this were the end of it , i would of been content . Sadly it was just the beginning of the failed night. Upon taking a few bites of the pizza i could tell something was off. peeling back the topping i could see that it was not properly cooked. I then investigated closer and it was clear that the bottom of the pizza was not cooked at all and bending it exposed uncooked dough. I called the customer service line and after he read my order i confirmed with them that the pizza did indeed say well done, but was uncooked. They remade the order and assured me it would arrive in another 40 minutes.

The first guy is now back with the sauces and the bread. upon eating the bread, once again this thing is severely under cooked. While the site shows nice golden cheese and a crisp bread, we receive something half cooked. Into the oven it goes.

The second set of pizzas arrive. Thinking great this will be what i ordered. I peered at the bottom of the pizza and things looked a little better but not by much. Having bent the pizza i could again see it was not cooked. I decided i had waited enough and would just toss it in the oven.

Unfortunately , the pizza tasted about as good as the cardboard box it came in, as a regular oven doesn't work like a pizza oven. The sauce was bland , the seasoning on the pizza was missing. The cheese wasn't cooked to the golden brown pizzas are known for. I couldn't believe a place named pizza pizza could not deliver a pizza.

I imagine if i had ordered regularly cooked then the pizza would of arrived frozen.

ended up tossing out 4 complete pizzas.

save your money and order from a local place instead of this...

I share with you today my bad experience at pizza pizza (4073 rue Wellington verdun, QC, H4G1V6)

We went to this restaurant, me and my little family on February 18, 2023 around 1:00 p.m. And I got the owner at checkout. O I asked for 2 medium pizzas at $8.99 each. While the latter tells me that it's been 1 years since they stopped this promotion. To know that it still exists on the pizza pizza site. And I just ordered the same thing last week from another pizza pizza restaurant. the owner didn't want to type this order on his cash register so I had to order it online to get it back to them. This whole procedure of ordering pizzas was tiring. And after when we received and paid for our pizza. I brought with me a small bottle of PEPSI. The owner came to see us and told us that it is forbidden to bring a drink from outside, you have to order it from the restaurant. And I know what he just told us makes sense and I put my drink away. But when I went to see him and asked him is there a note somewhere or on their website that mentions that? . The latter tells me no but it is our policy. And the sentence that really shocked us was "if someone orders $100 or more, I may be able to let them drink a drink from outside. But you ordered the cheapest pizza at the market ($21 tax included) So for me it's a waste of money). It really was a purely capitalist mentality. Who doesn't give a damn about the customers and his financial situation.

We left our pizza and came out moved and shocked with enormous sadness.

Nous sommes partis a ce restaurant, moi et ma petite famille le 18 février 2023 vers 13h00 . Et jai eu le propriétaire a la caisse . O J'ai demandé 2 pizza moyenne a 8.99$ chaque. Alors que ce dernier m'annonce que ca fait 1 ans qu'ils ont arrêté cette promotion. A savoir que ca existe toujours sur le site de pizza pizza . Et je viens de commander la meme chose la semaine derniere chez un autre restaurant pizza pizza . le propriétaire ne voulais pas taper cette commande sur sa caisse donc jetais obligé de la commander en ligne pour que ca remonte chez eux. Toute cette procédure pour commander des pizzas etait fatiguante . Et apres lorsquon a recu et payé notre pizza. Jai ramené avec moi une petite bouteille de PEPSI. Le propriétaire est venu nous voire et il nous a dis que cest interdit de ramener un boisson de l'extérieur il faut le commander du restaurant. Et je sais ce quil vient de nous dire est logique et j'ai rangé mon boisson chaude. Mais lorsque je suis parti le voir en lui demandant est ce qu'il ya une note quelque part ou dans leurs site web qui mentionne ca ? . Ce dernier me dis non mais cest notre politique. Et la phrase qui nous a vraiment choqué cest " si quelqu'un commande 100$ ou plus je pourrai peut etre lui laisser boire un boisson de l'extérieur. Mais vous avez commandé la pizza la moins Cher au marché (21$ taxe incluse ) donc pour moi cest une perte dargent ) . Cetait vraiment une mentalité purement capitaliste . Qui s'en fou carrément des clients et de sa situation financière

Tried to order on the app and website both glitch out. So I had to call in placed to my order the person was less than stellar. I get a call back in regards to they don't have the cauliflower crust. He tries to offer a different crust I explain I am a vegan and I eat nothing with meat or byproduct , he offers me the gluten free. This astonished me I had just explained that I can only eat the cauliflower crust because I'm vegan. He became extremely rude and asked me what I expect him to do then. I said nothing and hung up. I called 2 days later to order this time it was 2 pizza with a total 50$ ..I get a called back no cauliflower crust. I ask to speak with a manager and as of writing this review I've been on hold for 40 minutes. While waiting the store calls and ask what I would like them to do as I've asked for a manager. I finally after almost an hour on hold I get a relatively respectful women but at the end of the conversation she tried to argue vegan is new. I have more to say but I've spent an hour dealing with this and refuse to dedicate any more...
