Rebel Brasserie Urbaine — Restaurant in Montreal

Rebel is an AMAZING restaurant! Everything from the service to the food to the wine and the live musicians was more than my family and I were expecting. Even the guests at the restaurant were extremely friendly and having fun. The atmosphere of the restaurant was extremely positive, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was not packed, but I think that improved our experience because the staff was very attentive. One of the musical performers started a conga line/line dance with the guests of the restaurant, which was a lot of fun and extremely interactive/interesting. Server messed up most of our orders, including one person's order 3 times!!

You think I'm exaggerating? No. I'm not.

My friends asked for the chicken burger. They gave him a beef burger. When we said that's not what he ordered, we asked a friend to translate, and we explicitly said POULET!!! The server came back with another beef burger..... Wth.... Clarified a third time this time pointing specifically to the menu. Finally got the right order.

The rest of the mistakes were things like getting sauced wings when we asked for plain, many of us getting the wrong drinks, etc.

The food itself was ok, and the atmosphere was ok, but this experience just made it a very bad...

So, the food was fine. HOWEVER, we had to wait an absurdly long time for it. The hostess said that they were down a person and it would be a longer wait, and we said okay, but in my mind a longer wait means 45 minutes. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. And in that time our water never even got refilled. We had to ask three times just to get water. Also only 3/5 orders were brought to us correctly, the other two were wrong but it was 10:30 pm and we just wanted to leave at that point so we didn't...
