I cannot give this place enough stars. Let me tell you why in 3 steps.
Their tacos are beyond phenomenal. When you order a taco, what you get is authentic meat that does all the talking. They're not hidden behind useless salad pieces or a bunch of sauces. It's the taco and you, that's it. No useless fillers. Right to the point deliciousness.
Their service! I went there for the first time looking very much like a clueless tourist and was treated with service as if I belonged there. The host and waiters/waitresses were answering all of my questions and making sure I was having a fantastic time. I only ordered 2 tacos. The food and service were so fantastic I went again the second day and ordered multiple items from the menu, drinks, the works. The service was that exact same level.
Authenticity. This restaurant is a vessel to transport you from Montreal to the heart of Mexico. The music, fantastic. The people, amazing. The food, out of this world. Read moreWorst experience ever, but first the manager been really nice, we are couple who was really happy to go out for the first time during covid (4 june), ordered 4 tacos and 1 plate of nachos, specified that we didn’t want any baked vegetables, in all their plates and all the plates came at the table with baked vegetables, they removed the nachos, but made us pay everything, they said they will give us 2 drinks for the mistake, they charged it, finished with a bill of 70$ just for drinks and 2 tacos that was good. Will never go back again, thank to the guy who didn’t at least charge the tacos. I would have spent my money with my boyfriend some where else. We had to leave around 10:40pm cause the bill also took forever to come at the table, asked 2 times...
Read moreThe wait was very long, although the waiter told us ahead of time, we waited almost 1 hour. We didn't even receive water for well over 30mins after being seated and we had to ask more than twice. We thought that maybe they were unusually busy, so we sat tight and figured it would be worth it once the food arrived. Unfortunately, it was not. On the menu it said the burrito was filled with rice, beans, meat vegetables, cheese, sauce and guacamole. I received a burrito with a slather of refried beans, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and a thin slice of meat, no sauce (granted I asked for no cheese). All and all me and my partner ordered a burrito each along with a drink and it cost us $72. I do not recommend...
