Restaurant Amir — Restaurant in Montreal

I went to Amir’s on Nun’s Island for the first time and I will not be returning. The service was horrible. The clerk was rude and I felt like I was bothering him. For example, I asked for fries for part of the order and he sighed and said hold on I’ll go check if I have any ( none were cooked). Then I told him to forget about it. When it came to choosing my salads for my vegetarian plate It was a stressful guessing game; I asked for hummus he said :” that comes with it- pick something else” ... Honestly, I don’t need this kind of rudeness to start my weekend. Perhaps he acted like this because no one else was in the restaurant, anyhow, I will spend my hard earned money somewhere where it will be...

Rudest service I have ever seen. The guy basically barks at customers and god forbid you ask to repeat he snaps. They handle the cash and then make sandwiches with bare hands no gloves. Food was not good. Beef/lamb tasted bad, chicken extremely dry, potatoes not even cooked through, and I got watery tasteless rice straight from the pot (still cooking!) because I asked for fresh rice after seeing the crumbs that were left. Such a shame for the only Amir on nuns Island. I won't be back out of principle for not spending my money where it is clearly not wanted, out of hygiene concerns and...

The service is bad, the guy took the order from my friend and left without asking me if I want anything. Then he came back with the poutine, I said "I would like the same please" then he said "you could've told me from the beginning".

After that the plate came and the food was tasteless!! The gravy tasted like they made it themselves with no flavour at all, and the fries had no salt either. Even the cheese was so processed and fake to the point it melted to an inedible state. It felt like eating bricks of potato soaked with flavourless hot water!!!

The tables were clean tho, good job...
