Restaurant Bingo — Restaurant in Montreal

This place used to be so good. Ate there 3 days ago and was disappointed in almost every way. They're pre-cooking the burger patties, which is really unappetizing to me. As a chef myself, this for me is a HUGE faux-pas in this industry. Also there was only one small slice of tomato, "sour face" on that one too. Dried out cardboard-like bacon. The poutine sauce is more like a bbq chicken sauce with way too much corn starch. Not even close to enough cheese, and not real curd cheese. The fries were good though. The place is still set up pandemic style with plexiglass partitions. They don't do table service, you have to order and pay at the counter, then they give you a beeper that goes off when your order is ready. Greetings from London, England! Every year when I am over in Montreal, I make at least one trip to Bingo. Fish and chips is my favourite on the menu, served with a salad. Both are absolutely delicious, outstanding in fact. The staff are very helpful, and friendly. My cousins first introduced me to this gem of a restaurant some years ago. What happened to the breakfast menu? I went on Sunday all excited for the cheap awesome breakfast and was greeted with a lunch menu that had a blurb of about 6 breakfast options!! I noted to the waitress that it was the weekend and that it was still breakfast time and she told me that this was all that was offered now. I actually got up and left.
