Resto La Poule Fleury — Restaurant in Montreal

So Good to be back. The pandemic hiatus hit hard here and today was a good day to come back to my favourite breakfast spot. Been coming here for 12 years. Love the new decor very open and clean looking and the outdoor patio was a surprise, can't wait to get out there on a beautiful sunny morning. Staff is very friendly and food is great. the early bird special is excellent. It was great seeing people come in waving and greeting what seemed to be long lost friends. To be honest I don’t know if the people don’t have good taste anymore or the food was good before but I wouldn’t give this restaurante more than 2 stars. My omelette was burned and you can tell the ingredients that they use they are not of the best quality. The place is crowded and you have to share the table with people that you don’t know. Also the service is ok but not the one that you expect for a place like this. They don’t accept credit cards only cash or debit. I would not recommend this...

I don’t often leave reviews, but this breakfast was so good, I really had to come and give them five stars. The quality and preparation is not restaurant like. Everything was prepped with care, the ingredients are obviously carefully selected. Again, felt like eating homemade which is extremely rare in this day and age. Delivery was quick.
