Just fantastic. This is the highest quality and most authentic Algerian cuisine in Montreal! You will feel transported to the Maghreb..

Every item on their menu is delicious, generous portions, and prepared with care and consistency. The chicken and lamb are so tender and fall right off the bone. The bourek is so scrumptious...Everything is served in beautiful clay ceramics, each item has a special bowl like couscous, reshta, stews, tajines, etc. They have an extensive menu of authentic foods from Kabylia and Algeria as a whole.

My favorites were the lamb couscous, tajine zitoun with chicken, M'thawem (must try!). I also enjoyed the Aghroum aquran (Kabylian bread) which was toasted and served with a delicious eggplant spread.

The owner is extremely kind and welcoming. I come here every time I'm in Montreal. 5-stars and highly...

I think my experience here was mostly daunted by my choice of dish more than anything else. My dish was just cubes of beef in a sauce which I ate with some bread. However there are a few other points that can be criticized as well. The tent setting seats were a treat and were complimented by some good decor. But the lack of music subtracted from the atmosphere bringing it to neutral. I have not had Algerian food much but I am not unfamiliar. I have to say that the other Algerian restaurants I've tried impressed me more than this one. Just the overall quality of the food didn't capture me. We had to go out of our way to get more bread...

My fav Algerian restaurant in the city so far. Food is authentic delicious and fresh (maybe not the case with meat but i understand) Whoever is cooking, is reminding me of my mother.

The staff is very polite but they should step up to take the experience to a high level.

The decor is amazing where the booths and traditional sofas are on the left. It reminds me of the good old days when we used to visit our grandmas. Not a big fan of the tables on the right.... And they should work on the lightings. The right side looks dark.

I tried to be as much constructive as I could but, Overall, amazing place...

There weren't many people on Sunday so it was very calm and peaceful atmosphere. Very large portions and the owners were generous and friendly, they gave us so much more than I expected. I tried the tajin zitoune and I loved it, I'd also highly highly recommend the bourek that comes with the chourek soup. I'd love to come back again.
