As someone who used to be a waitress , I have the utmost respect for those who work in the restaurant industry. However, I’m disappointed to say that I will not be returning to this Rockaberry location.

Upon arrival, we waited patiently to be greeted. There was a sign instructing customers to wait to be seated, and although we were only there for takeout, we chose to wait as the space was crowded and there wasn’t much room to move around. The last thing I wanted was to be in anyone’s way. Despite making eye contact with staff several times, no one acknowledged us—not even a simple “just a moment” or “please wait by the counter.”

Eventually, we approached the cake counter ourselves, realizing no one intended to assist us. There was no welcoming atmosphere. When the waitress finally took our order, it felt completely indifferent—she handed us the payment terminal without a greeting, eye contact, or even a “thank you.” No effort was made to ensure we had completed the payment.

It’s incredibly disappointing to experience this level of disregard. It’s not about expecting perfect service, but rather the basic respect and courtesy every customer deserves. Experiences like this tarnish the reputation of those who work hard to provide genuine hospitality.

This cheesecake was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The portion was massive, and the flavors were absolutely incredible. They had so many tempting options, it was hard to choose just one!
