Expressing an interest in becoming a snob is not usually a thought best vocalized. Fortunately, Escape Lab is a space safe from judgment for those seeking to elevate their self-perception by expanding their coffee vocabulary and gear arsenal. You can be blunt with your goals, and honest in your ignorance, and you will be rewarded with a brew to soothe your trepidation, one I might note will be made exactly to your liking (of tastes you didn’t even know you had yet, they’re just that ahead of the game here), all while the knowledgeable team effortlessly dances between humbling and encouraging you deeper into unknown waters as they explain how a real snob wrangles the gear being packaged up in front of you. With your pride still intact, and your appetite whetted for another cup, you’ll have the confidence and eagerness to return for another round, even though you’re leaving with what you need to “start making coffee at home.” You can’t fool anyone here, and they wouldn’t want you to try, so you’ll be back — there’s no escape for you now,...
