My girlfriend and I have been loyal regulars at Lime for a while now. We always had great experiences with Long (the man with glasses) and the friendly woman who usually serves us. However, our latest visit was beyond disappointing today at around 1pm.
We were served by a woman we’d never seen before. When our chicken curry arrived, we found a hair in the dish—completely unacceptable. Instead of apologizing, she denied it was a hair and brought out something completely different to compare, claiming it wasn’t hers or ours. After some back and forth, she finally told us the dish would be free because of the incident.
But when we got to the register, she changed the story and said it would only be half off because they “made us two extra salads.” First of all, we didn’t ask for more salad, nor was that ever discussed as part of the compensation. She just took that decision upon herself. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional.
