At a bar, browsed DoorDash just before 2 because eating options are pretty non-existent when leaving the bar (even all McD's close at 3:30, serving only breakfast after the ridiculous time of 4am), so I was pleasantly surprised to see Subway as an option! I included a dipper. They forgot the dip, so I had to eat it dry. DoorDash is downright abusive when we report issues, so it's especially egregious to get DoorDash orders wrong. There's a possibility the staff screwed up and added the dip as a sauce, but it's a DIPPER, I'm supposed to be able to control how much I get per bite, not them!
And reading some reviews about under-served under-full subs, actually it's true, I ordered a Supremo, comes with lots of meats, usually it's stuffed to the max, this is a bit empty, ingredients almost completely absent at the ends, come on! Sure, the 2am staff (half an hour before closing) are probably not the stars, and end of a late shift, but I suspect neither of these issues were caused by...
Read moreCustomer service is adequate, however, you can easily tell that owners only care about cutting costs, thereby compromising on quality. On more than one occasion, I was served stale bread (clearly baked more than 1 day prior) and mushy tomatoes. They never offer swiss cheese, probably because it costs them the most out of all cheeses they offer. Finally, they do not follow the standard operating procedure when making a sandwich. For example, they are supposed to put 6 slices of tomatoes (they put 3-4), and they put way less meat than required by the SOP, all in the name of cutting costs. The only reason this deserves two stars and not one is because the employees are kind of nice. That said, the customer...
Read moreA while back we ordered delivery, and the food arrived cold. Like refrigerator cold. We wrote this off as just an accident where the subs were not adequately toasted. Today I stopped by on the way home from work, and picked up a pair of meat subs (supposed to be hot meat). I made sure to ask for them to be toasted, and I witnessed them put into the oven myself. However, both subs were, upon arriving home, cold. And again, not just "cooled down" cold, but stone cold "need to use the oven to heat them up" cold. This is not just a preference thing, but can be a solid safety issue with meat involved that are not cold cuts. Aside from that, the rest of the...
