Sep-22: Update with our best meal in ever. The lady owner/chef was most welcoming and kind. She was friendly and service was prompt and courteous. The service she provided today should be the standard going forward :) Jjampong and house salad with home-made Korean mustard dressing was excellent. Undeniably great jjampong and salad. That’s all we need. 🙏🏻 Jun-22: Authentic Korean food. No frills, just pure good soul food. They provide good entreés, their salad with their home-made dressing with a hint of wasabi is just one of the best salad dressing I have ever had. Their Jjampong ($16 before tax) is our favourite with smoky seafood umami in their broth. Their Japchae ($15) is nice. We ordered their seafood pancake for the first time and I’m disappointed with the burnt vegetables bits, the dough is just so thick and there’s not much to like so I don’t recommend this dish. The service… has some room for improvement, the lady cashier could be more helpful. She seemed very disinterested and was not happy having us dine there at all. The several times we were here last year, they had a nice waitstaff/cashier and he was checking in with us from time to time to make sure everything was okay. Today, it was impossible to get her attention even though we were the only customers in the restaurant (and they were done with their take away orders). All in all, we always return for their Jjampong, realiably good every single time, but I wish they bring back the male cashier from last year for improved service.

Im Korean, and I am usually very picky with korean food (especially in Montreal), but I was quite surprised how good their food was! They don’t have many choices of korean dishes like other restaurants have but the ones i ordered tasted really good! Their bulgogi (stir-fried beef plate) with slices of cabbages and chop suey was delicious, very very tasty. My husband took the soon doobu stew (korean spicy tofu soup) To be honest there weren’t many veggies like it’s supposed to be, but… two thumbs up, tasty and spicy just like how i like it. Really. Don’t expect to go eat there with a large number of people because the place is really really small inside. There was maybe 3-4 tables, i think they can manage about 5-6people in one table. The owners are taking care of serving, cooking and i noticed a lot of delivery guys were coming to pick food for delivery? I am guessing they can be found either on ubereats or somewhere. Definitely going back there, how great it is to find good comfort korean good when I get a craving

An authentic tiny and cozy Korean restaurant that has the best food ever ❤️ We were very hungry and were craving Korean food and went in without any reservations and it was the best decision ever 😇 From the salad to the soup to the seafood pancakes and finally to the main meal of bulgogi and kimchi bibimbap the food was exquisitely delicious ❤️ Each bite had the best blend of flavors and it really filled up our appetite ❤️❤️ The perfect 10/10 place to go for Korean food for it will definitely not disappoint family or friends ❤️

Costume service is very bad, I ordered in Ubereats and my pajeon was very burnt in the bottom but decided to give the restaurant another chance since I was craving some Korean food and went there by FOOT 12 Mins walk -18c ( really was craving it) and AFTER they took my order the lady in the back heard that it wasn’t so much it was like $22 dollars and when I was ready to pay she said to the guy taking my order that it would take more than 40 MINUTES because it was so busy ( was NO BODY in the restaurant) so I was like okay maybe they have many orders to go and I’m like what If I eat here would it still take more than 40 mins even if I’m the only person and they person taking the order didn’t know what to say and told her in Korean she answered very bad saying “ I don’t know” and looked a me very bad and i felt so bad and just left. I though since this restaurant is a small place and family businesses it would be more welcoming and warm, Very...
