Sorry to say, but this is the last time we will be going. Third strike. Tonight it was steel bristle from 1" long wire brush on our son's garlic bread, thank goodness he noticed. Why would that have even been in a piece of garlic bread?! He ordered fettucine. Waitress picked the bristle up from our son's hand, said something indescribable, threw it on the floor beside our table. Offered to bring new meal, i said, no just a new garlic bread is fine. When the bill arrived, no discount, had to ask the waitress for a discount, then she had to ask for approval to give the discount. Wow. Discount or free meal should have been offered as soon as that was brought to their attention. They did give small % off his meal. $5 Tap beer was unfortunately flat. Other friends with us, the Grandma had a small piece of saran wrap inside her wine glass that she almost drank. I don't know if they were offered a discount. Food was tasteless. Steak sandwiches were not cooked to order. 3 steak sandwiches were all over cooked. Medium, medium rare were all well done, not a bit of pink even. Potatoe bacon soup was definitely out of a can, could tell before i even put my spoon into it. Tasteless. Garlic mashed potatoes were extremely dry. Should have went with fries. Atmosphere is nice. Service is not great, but thank you for the small % off one meal. Will not be going back ever again. Waitresses need more training on customer service, eye contact, smiles, cutting off our words, walking away when taking an order, grumpy, impatient, please, thank yous, basic customer service can be improved. We decided to try this new restaurant and my first impression was that it was absolutely freezing inside, but luckily we had a winter jacket in the car so I wore that while there. We got the summer flatbread as a starter & it was DELICIOUS - I have been thinking about it ever since & plan to go back to have it again. The avocado was so fresh & even my partner loved it even though they typically avoid avocado - it was that good! I have been boasting about it to all my friends to go and try :) We both got salads for our meal, I got the shrimp salad and it was also very good and the portion size was large - way larger than I expected! The only negative part of our experience at this new restaurant was it took a long time for our salads to come despite being the only ones in the restaurant, eventually our waitress told us the chef didn’t see our order so they were going to start making it then and would discount our food. When we paid we noticed nothing was discounted, not our late meals and also not the flatbread that was on special 15% off the shareables menu... That was disappointing but the prices as is are reasonable as is so we...

Our food was fantastic, absolutely zero complaints. The atmosphere is great. It's a nice modern place and done well, I even has a nice patio for the warm days.

However the service was super slow from the word go. Our server was genuinely friendly and tried. She was just in super slow motion and seemed confused. I guess she could of been new or something. She spoke like a mouse and wasn't sure of anything. Secondly our food TOOK FOREVER TO ARRIVE. Like 40 mins (we had 3 different pastas) And wen it did arrive only two out of the three of us got served. It was another 10 mins before I got mine.

Serving 2/3 of the table and leaving one an extra 10 mins us a huge no no. Now again this could of been a simple mistake, but they never said word about it. Not I'm sorry your food will be right here, we have an issue.. Nothing... What sucks more then sitting while the whole table eats without you and then you are eating alone at the end.
