Seto Sushi — Restaurant in Nanaimo

Usually order delivered, but was driving by and stopped in. Good selection of dishes well presented. Service was very good, despite some language and hearing issues. Fans and refrigerators were noisy. Food was served much better than I expected. Nice dinner ware and cutlery. So food looked great and great tasting. Portions looked small but only because dinnerware was large. I am a big guy with appetite to match and I did NOT go away hungry. BTW, This is the only sushi place that we have found that has fresh scallops. Try it you may like...

Horrible horrible service. I ordered a spicy ramen soup and specifically asked if the stock is vegetation cause I am, they said no on the phone. I picked up my order and went back to my office, ate half of it, then found chunks of pork in it, called Seto Sushi back and they were so rude on the food, did not apologize a all, and asked me to bring it back. They could have just said yes on the phone, and I could have ordered something different. Do not trust them if you are vegetarian or vegan, they will feed you meat and...

Food is otherwise great, but this has been the second time I’ve ordered a CONE from them, and they gave me a roll instead. Couldn’t return it since I had it delivered. But I really wanted to try their highly rated California CONE. But they gave me the roll instead. I already ordered a roll, to go with the cone and was looking forward to this meal. It’s frustrating because this happened when I ordered their Scallop CONE, and they gave me a sushi roll instead. Do they not thoroughly read their orders? So disappointing...I...
