Curry Point — Restaurant in Nanaimo

August 03, 2021, Update: My weekly, sometimes daily pit stops at Curry Point in Nanaimo ... continues to be a delight for me and this family business continues to be my #1 choice for Indian Cuisine. My strong #1 addiction is their Butter Chicken dish, but I have had it all and there is nothing on the menu that I don't love. Curry Point is my #1 choice for fine dining take out period. I stated by being a several times per week customer and Google now says I've had got 250,000 total views of my photos for Currie Point which surprises me to be honest! There is a new colour scheme here, but the food is still off the chain GOOD and I have sampled everything on the menu. As I said before...there is NOT one single Curry Point dish that I have did not loved. This was the easiest 5-stars review I ever...

Don't pass this place up like I did in the past! Today I decided to give it a try after seeing how popular it was with meals starting from $8.25 and up. In the past I didn't like Indian food but places like this is changing that. Today I ordered the 2 meat combo $10.99. It comes with rice, naan and choice of 2 meat items.

The lady was very nice and let me sample before picking my meat items. I went with curry beef and a chicken item I never tried. Both mixed well with the rice and made a wet rice meal. The naan was great addition too.

The service was great and mostly the price and value you get here is amazing. I see myself returning back and trying out more...

Curry Point is an amazing spot that is similar to what you would call a "hidden gem". They are located inside Country Club mall and this is most likely why they fall into that category.

The prices are amazing, and the food is even better. To think you can get a fresh plate of perfectly cooked basmati rice and your choice of any curry for $7.25 (incl. tax) seems unreal in 2020.

I initially used to only eat here for lunches as food on the go and order elsewhere for dinner but when a plate of 2 curries, rice and Nann comes to juner $9 vs. $22+ from anywhere...
