World class ice cream right here!! Incredible flavour. And I don’t say that lightly - I’ve eaten a lot of ice cream. I’ve tried 20+ of the 72 flavours at Mario’s in Vancouver. I’ve sampled authentic Italian Gelati in Rome, and had thick custardy French ice cream in Paris. And this right here is good ice cream. My husband and I brought home 3 kinds to try and at first we were skeptical, because it just looked like plain, coloured smoothness in a tub. There weren’t, like, a bunch of chunks. We like chunks. We’re Moose Tracks fans. But… The FLAVOUR!! These guys have nailed some really unique combinations (like basil-chocolate) that are hard to balance, and even the familiar ones like mint chocolate taste incredibly authentic to the actual herbs involved. I have peppermint all over my yard and eat it all the time and this ice cream didn’t taste like cheap imitation mint it tasted like real peppermint.

I would love to post pictures of the actual macarons but I was too excited and once I started eating them, I couldn't stop. The shop is very welcoming and inclusive and I had a wonderful conversation with the owner who was happy to answer all my questions and make flavour recommendations. I got 3 macarons as a taste test and after eating them (in very quick succession) I immediately wished I had gotten more.

I had passionfruit, blueberry pistachio and raspberry earl grey. Each flavour was genuine, no hint of additives or simulated flavour. These were the very best macarons I've ever tried and are absolutely worth it for their price point. I am excited to try more macaron flavours and to try their ice cream. I finally tried them. I decided to indulge, and I wanted to support a local business, so I just ordered a pint of Vegan Oreo Cookie. Okay, best ice cream ever. Best VEGAN ice cream ever. I hate most in store vegan ice cream, and I am lactose intolerant so I suffer and buy regular ice cream because well I love ice cream. Today I got it delivered to me, and had it for dessert. Let’s just say, my intent of eating it all weekend turned into eating it in 1 hour lol. I couldn’t put it down. Not only did I love it, my husband did as well!
