How Shang Sway Tea House is an absolute treasure — lovingly run by a sweet elderly couple for the past 15 years. It’s hard to believe that everything here is made without onion, garlic, or meat, yet the dishes are so flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly balanced!
The food feels light but fulfilling, leaving you energized rather than heavy. Every bite tastes fresh, comforting, and thoughtfully prepared. It’s also amazing to know that everything is vegan and gluten-free, yet packed with rich, authentic flavors that rival any restaurant.
From the warm atmosphere to the nourishing meals, this place truly feels like a hug in food form. If you’re in Nelson, don’t miss this hidden gem — the food, the care, and the love behind it make it a one-of-a-kind experience. 💚

Wish I took a photo of the other things, but got swept up in the moment. Will come back the next time...
