A&W Canada — Restaurant in New Brunswick

We placed an order online (using the app) and chose the pick up option. ( Option states that the order will be brought to the door once you arrive, due to Covid-19 precautions, you cannot go inside). Once we arrived, we received the notification that the order was ready. Waited in the car just outside the door for about 10 mins.( There was a good size drive thru lineup, we were in no rush) After 10 mins, I got out of the car to stand by tbe door to make sure staff knew we were there, no acknowledgement. I knocked on the door to get their attention for directions on how to pickup. Noone looked up. At this point we had been there for close to 20 mins. I decided to call and was told to walk around to the drive thru window to pick up my order. I would have been ok doing this in the 1st place but had I not called, noone would have told us to do this. I received the order cold, I was wet (since it was raining that day) and the experience was very disappointing. There was also no apology for the mis information on the site. Normally, the app works, and the service is pretty decent. The order isnt always ready but its usually not too bad. Hopefully this review will prompt someone to post better directions on their door and...

Things have gotten out of hand. I paid 16$ plus for a Mama buger combo wanted a Teen Burger but that TV Menu was off line . Also got oinion rings instead of fries. Was charged almost 6$ for the rings and didn't even get the fries. Would of been better off getting a side of rings. Would of had the fries and side of rings at the same cost pretty much .AND THEY KEEP THE FRIES AND SELL THEM. RIPPED OFF . F%$# Albert & Walter's. Truefully I couldn't eat the Burger , fries and rings it would be to much. BUT 6$ TOO CHANGE FROM FRIES TO RINGS. MAYBE INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS OF THAT COST . When the choose it. Anyways, Fast food is gotten way out of hand price wise. I don't eat out much . We cook home cooked meals. Maybe this is my fault. NOT .... If I took Papa and Mama and Uncle and the 3 Teens out too eat at A&W. I better bring a BROWN ONE AND A RED ONE WITH ME...

We stopped at this location a couple of week’s ago while travelling. They had a large sign at each door advertising their $6.00 breakfast special. We were within the proper time and day advertised for this special so we each ordered this. When we received our receipt, it said $6.99 each. Not a huge deal but I questioned the charge and was told they did not have a $6 option on their til but she would check. She never returned to answer my question. When we went to leave, there was a supervisor at the toll so I asked the same question and was again told that they had no $6 option on the till.
