This location is attached to a Needs convenience store/gas station and easily accessed from the Trans-Canada. During my visit, it was pouring rain, so I can look past the messy floor. Other than that, the dining area was very clean, as were the bathrooms. The service was fast and efficient but not too chatty. There was a trainee working. It looked like it was their first time preparing food. They were still polite, though. They just looked a little frazzled. The food is what it is. I prefer it over other types of fast-food joints but on this visit they made a mess of my order. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma XL, thinking I'd have half for lunch and the other half for supper. When they sealed the wrap they broke the Pita down all one side of it. I asked them to change it but they didn't. When I got to my table and opened it, it just spilled out into the wrapper. So, I ended up eating what I could and threw the rest out. At least it wasn't burgers and fries, again. They offer fair pricing for what they provide and they're conveniently located. Expect to pay about $20 per person. This location didn't exemplify what I've come to know as a Pita Pit. I probably won't be back to this location. At the end of the day, it is just another fast-food chain. The most I could give it is 3 stars but I can't even give it that based...
Read moreI want to make it very well known to anyone who is thinking about eating at the Oromocto pita pit to greatly reconsider that thought. We were the only customers in the drive thru and the employee was very rude and condescending while speaking with us. When asked if we wanted any veggies on the grill I turned to ask my fiancé what she would like and within two seconds he was asking if we wanted them on white or whole wheat. I told him that we didn't even decide what we wanted on the grill he replied with " well you didn't answer." In a rude tone and continued to talk over me. I don't know who would even think that this is how you even speak to a customer but it is clearly the very wrong way to speak to anyone in that manner. The disrespect is what made me decide that this pita pit is a place that no one should ever visit. Management needs to do something about their employees and how they are treating their customers because this is a very serious problem that will only end up in that store shutting down due to lack of customers. But hear what I have to say and do not set foot...
Read moreThis place used to be decent but now every time I leave i swear it will be the last time I go. They try to put on the very least amount of toppings to the point that you have to ask 3-4 times to get what you want, that’s if they dont put ten time more than they put on the first time and totally ruin your pita. They shouldn’t be taking payment before they make the pita if they are unable to make it the way you want. Communication is a real challenge at this store. It would probably be easier to get what you want if you used google translate and both parties spoke in their mother tongue. They will put all the sauce you request on one end of the pita and when you ask for a little on the other end you get a half litre effectively ruining the pita. But people say we should pay the fast food workers 20$/hr lol Go order 4 times at any fast food restaurant and see if at least half of them aren't wrong. 20$/hr requires a skill and screwing up simple take out orders is...
