I love Starbucks and I don’t mind spending money on good coffee. My complaints are not directly about the quality of the food, rather the quality of service.
NEVER in my life have I been treated so poorly by service staff. I have placed complaints with the supervisor months ago and it turns out, she was the one that mistreated me!
This past weekend, it happened again! I ordered a mobile order. The estimated completion time was 3:15pm. At 3:10 I started through the drive thru line because there were 4 vehicles in front of me.
I was quickly instructed to go to the back of the line. I refused to leave the drive thru lineup and reassured the barista that if my order wasn’t ready by the time I got to the window, that I would just park and come in the store to pick up my order. She told me I wasn’t allowed and I had to exit the drive thru and take my place at the end of the line.
When I arrived at the window at 3:18 (three minutes past my estimated pickup time) she told me I wasn’t allowed to wait in the lineup and reminded me of what she had instructed me to do. She even went as far as to tell me to go to the back of the drive thru lineup AGAIN!
I told her if my drink isn’t ready then I will park and come in the store to pickup (I wasn’t going to wait behind 6 more cars..). I asked her if my drink was ready and told her that my estimated pickup time was 3:15pm but it was ok if it wasn’t ready.
She proceeded to reach beside her cash, grab my drink (that was in fact ready for pickup) and my semi warm egg bites.
I said “thank you, have a great day” and she proceeded to turn away from me and stick her thumb out the window.
I have never been so disgusted in my life. This is the second time this happened at this location. I am a very patient person and I understand these orders take time, but if I hadn’t ordered ahead and just ordered via the drive thru speaker as I arrived, I would have been allowed to stay in the lineup for the exact same order.
Clearly complaints to the supervisor do not accomplish anything so I’ve come to Google to place a review with a heavy heart. I truly do love Starbucks.
This store seems like a great luxury addition to the town of oromocto but is truly just a disgrace considering the way they treat their customers. From now on, I’ll stick to Tim Hortons, thanks anyways...

I ordered a strawberry acai with coconut milk and they gave me a pink drink, I was told it's the same thing but it didn't taste the same so I asked for a strawberry acai made with water, well I think maybe the barista was mad that I changed my mind because I basically got a cup of water with 2 strawberries in it. If I wanted water, I wouldn't have paid over 7$ for a glass. I'm super disappointed because I come here often but I think I may just not go anymore and save some money on water or should I say strawberry acai. I took a picture but apparently can't...
