I am still eating my Sandwich as I am writing this with you because it is so good. I could not wait to come on here and compliment this place. Where do I begin? Everyone is so attentive and they acknowledge that you are there and waiting for placing the order. The bread is literally made fresh on a hot Stone. And it was so much fun to watch. This place is so generous with their toppings. Nobody gave me a dirty look. I asked for extra pickles and turnips and extra parsley. And I told him not to stop on the garlic sauce. Until I said so and he just kept going and going with no attitude. I am so impressed with the generosity of this place. I tried their falafel and I have to say. It's the best falafel i've ever had in my life. It was so light and airy in the inside. And the crunch was extremely well done I am very impressed. I also got their egg plant dip. And it is absolutely delicious, and the prices are very reasonable. For how much food they give you and i'm surprised they carry diet Gingerrell which I also picked up. They treated me with full attention and gave me anything I asked for this is exactly the Middle Eastern mentality and customer service that I am used to from Dubai that I cannot find Here anywhere in Canada. I hope the owner sees this review and understands that customer satisfaction is 10 out of 10 and I am a very tough critic. I will definitely be back very soon to treat my entire family. To these incredible sandwiches, the chicken has so much flavor I can go on and on but I'm going to stop here and I give you my word. You will not be disappointed try this place and tell all your friends. Also they split the sandwich and wrap them in 2 separate wraps...

When I heard Flaming Stove was coming to Newmarket I was excited as I heard some good things from reviewers such as BlogTO. However, the Newmarket location is a huge disappointment. The hype is not real, sure the Saj bread is made in front of your eyes but that’s what you paying for. A shawarma wrap for $12.99 before tax is absolutely ridiculous. There are plenty of awesome shawarma shops in the area such as Shawarma Land and Mike’s Shawarma that have come out to at least $4-5 less then what Flaming Stove is serving.
The quantity is very less and the price more expensive. Villa Madina in the Upper Canada Mall is cheaper. Paying just under $15.00 for a wrap is ridiculous. Everything is starting to get expensive if not already expensive, but when other establishments can serve better food for better prices well then something is wrong. The reason I’d give flaming stove 1 star is because the taste is alright.
Anyone looking for a Shawarma fix? Looking no further than Shawarma Land in Aurora and Mike’s Shawarma in Newmarket.

Read moreRead such raving reviews so decided to try and was underwhelmed. Bought shawarma in a wrap. So they asked me what I want inside and Istart with hummus. Sorry, we dont put hummus. What?!!! If you want hummus you can buy container of hummus for 3.99 and we will put it. What?!!! This is the first time in the world that I hear that a shawarma place does not put hummus. The turnip looked dried up. The shawarma comes from a container pre-cut already, the falafel balls also premade. The saj also premade and actually taste like nothing. The amount of meat also doesn't reflect the 12.99 pre-tax price, flavor-wise was decent but was dry probably due to sitting in the container for a long time. You want fresh laffa made to order and shawarma cut directly from the skewer go to mister laffa in Thornhill. You want you insane mounts of high-quality chicken and fresh ingredients go to pita golden pocket on Highway 7. This place is not worth a second visit. Really can't understand all the excitement about it. Very mediocre and not great...
