My Indie Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in Newmarket

Meagan Dier and My Indie Coffee Roasters have been a wonderful surprise since I moved to Newmarket. In addition to having freshly roasted, high quality coffee beans available they have helped change my home coffee experience!.

I recently purchased the Simonelli Oscar II espresso machine and Eureka Magnifico grinder from My Indie Coffee. Both machines have wonderful performance and have changed how I enjoy and share coffee at home. Meagan and her provider were so helpful in setting it up and making sure it was calibrated, giving me espresso with perfect texture and crema every time and frothing that could not be faster and easier. The switch has helped keep sugar out of the morning coffee(s) and greater enjoyment of each cup. Anyone looking to make the switch to a home espresso machine should give serious consideration to the Simonelli brand and the great customer service and pricing at My Indie Coffee.

It’s definitely more of a pick-up place rather than a sit-in due to the smaller size, although there’s a decently sized built in bench with pillows that can seat two or three people. There was even a wall outlet for us to vibe and work on my friends assignment together! The music was quiet and chill, so it didn’t feel incredibly awkward or empty, despite us being the only two to sit inside. Foot traffic coming inside was decent, too!

They also collaborate with other small, local businesses and their brand definitely has a down to earth, equitable, and trendy vision

I've been an avid coffee drinker for the past 5 years and before finding/trying Indie Roasters, i realized I've been drinking some pretty mediocre coffee. I've sourced coffee beans from around the world but Meagan does a FANTASTIC job roasting her beans which I've realized makes all the difference.
