After being served a plate of cold and hardened nachos, feedback was provided on cold nachos, owner came out to table to inform how nachos are supposed to be made (not scolding hot and cheese melting). In context, the first plate of nachos was not even warm and I had asked server to have have the kitchen remake due to this reason- she apologized and happily helped with the issues. Disappointingly and unexpectedly, the owner came to our table with the plate of nachos that was re-heated and giving a lesson on how nachos are supposed to be made- cheese melted and not super hot. Disappointedly, the remade nachos were soggy and oily due to reheating under the oven or broiler rather than actually making a new order. Added on top, when the re-heated nachos were delivered to the table- owner pointed at the plate of nachos with his fingers multiple times ( almost touching the nacho chips) saying to us that this is supposed to be how nachos are made - cheese melted and not super hot. (to be fully honest- the nacho chips were extremely oily and cheese hardened but not melted from the re-heating). This is extremely unprofessional as an owner and to the overall st Louise brand service levels- disregarding consumer comments and forcing his consumers to accept his speech/reasoning with absolute disregard for any constructive feedback.
Being a consumer at St. Louis wings throughout the greater GTA for 15+ years, im shocked at both the client service and food service of this franchise owner- does St. Louis ever do any quality control or mystery shop to their stores as a corporation?
Owner refused to acknowledge any issues and we were stuck with the full bill at the end as he was not willing to even review or consider the food that was delivered.
Talk about customer service vs food delivery quality at this St. Louis- non existent? Making excuses and forcing the bill onto his customers, regardless of food service quality, despite the owner Jafar coming out to “educate” his customers with absolute zero empathy for the horrific food delivery. (unlike other locations in north York, aurora and downtown Toronto).
I trust St Louis head office will speak with Jafar and provide additional training/ re-education on the St. Louis customer Sevice to avoid further jeopardizing the brand for competitors across the...
Read moreA complete nightmare! - RACIST OWNER !! Stay away, if you dont want to embarass yourself. Only if I could give a negative star rating, I would. We went there on my teenage daughters birthday... she wanted to go grab lunch, and we decided on this location. The place was almost empty, considering it being a Thursday afternoon and just one server managing the entire place, including the bar. We ordered one pound original wings and another pound of boneless wings with fries and a couple of drinks. The first bite into the boneless wings and they felt raw. We tried a couple of more and then decided to call the server and let her know. The server was really nice about it and apologized. She took them back to the kitchen. In about 2 mins, another person came out from the kitchen with a cell phone in his hand and told us the owner wants to speak to us. I was initially delighted at the concern and the interest the owner took and willingly agreed to speak with him. This is where the problem started - from the word go, he was rude and not ready to listen. He accused us of being cheats and said he was coming to personally speak with us. On reaching the restaurant, he aggressively started shouting at us and calling us "dine and dash" people... he told us to get out of the restaurant and threatened to call the police. We had already paid for the whole meal (had not even finished our drinks and food). He was so out of control that he started yelling and shouting, hurling abuses and not even considering that I had a young daughter with me. He followed us threatingly right upto the door, and then he threw the bombshell... he said "I ALWAYS KNEW YOU INDIANS WERE HERE FOR A FREE MEAL" My daughter held my hand and requested me not to react. We sat in the car for a long tim, thinking if what we had experienced was just a bad dream. My request to anyone reading this review - if you are an Indian, know what this person thinks of you, and even if you are not, supporting such an establishment is not just supporting racism but encouraging it. Keep away if you have any self respect. The picture of the uneaten RAW wing is attached for reference, which I showed him and he insisted it was cooked without even touching it. cc: St.Luis Corporate Office... How can you let your brand outlet be managed by a racist...
Read moreI don’t know where to start. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant. I’ve been to many St. Louis locations. Always love their wings and burgers and the dill dip. I saw an ad for the all-you-can-eat ribs so I told some friends and decided to give it a shot at this location. Let me start by saying that the restaurant was empty when we got there at 6 pm. It was just our table and another table. We ordered the first round of ribs and it took almost an hour for us to get it on our table. When we talked to the server, she said it was because they received a large number of online orders. That’s fine, we understood. She told is that the next orders would be coming in a lot quicker. That didn’t happen. Every order took so long to arrive. Never seen this before. When we asked for water we got it but were never offered a refill. By the time we got our third order of ribs, there wasn’t enough sauce on it and the centre of it was cold. Yes, cold. Not even room temperature. It was very clear that they either didn’t care or they were understaffed. Even their fries, which we always love, came EXTREMELY salty. Really really salty. When we told them, they took the fries and brought us a much smaller portion with no salt at all. Not one grain of salt. We just ate it because we were tired of complaining to our server. Our server was nice and patient though. Our party really suspect that they didn’t have enough staff in the kitchen. We don’t know what the real problem is but it was just a horrible experience all together. If you view my ratings on other restaurants, you’ll see that I almost always give a 5 star review to any restaurant I visit. I’m very fair and not the kind of picky eater or a difficult customer. But this time, I had to give this restaurant the rating that I think...
