If you're looking for a great brunch spot in New Market, then look no further than Stacked Pancake and Breakfast House. This restaurant has a lot to offer, including excellent food, reasonable prices, and a friendly staff. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stacked and was blown away by the quality of the food and service. One standout dish that I tried was the Mexican Hash, which was flavorful and filling. The combination of eggs, potatoes, peppers, and spices made for a delicious and hearty meal. Another standout dish was the Spinach Crepe, which was light and flavorful. The crepe was filled with spinach, mushrooms, and cheese, and topped with a delicious hollandaise sauce. One of the best things about Stacked is the reasonable prices. For the quality of food and service, the prices are very reasonable, making it an affordable option for a delicious brunch. However, be aware that there can be a bit of a wait on weekends, so plan accordingly. The staff at Stacked was super friendly, especially Tara who showed us to our table and Mona who took our order. They were attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful suggestions and ensuring that we had a great dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Stacked for brunch. The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Worst Experience at Stacked Pancake & Breakfast House in Newmarket I had an absolutely horrible experience at this restaurant. The food was terrible—not only did it taste bad, but it also had a revolting smell that completely ruined our appetite. I brought this to the server's attention, and while she apologized and took the food back, things went downhill from there. She insisted we try their blueberry pancakes despite us initially declining. After some persistence, we reluctantly agreed. To our shock, we were charged for one of the original dishes we didn’t eat and for the pancakes we never wanted in the first place! Her justification? They "have to add it to inventory," which makes absolutely no sense to me as a paying customer. By that point, our appetite was completely gone due to the awful smell of the first dish. The service was just as bad as the food, and they left us paying for things we didn’t consume. It was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. Save your time, money, and stomach—stay far away!

Decided to try this spot out this weekend with my family and we were blown out the water. Originally from downtown Toronto, this place made us feel like we never left! It is very clean and modern. The hostesses are very friendly. This place was just buzzing with energy! People chatting, laughing and having a great time! If you are looking for a quiet laidback breakfast this may not be the place for you. But my family and I really enjoyed it! The food was also very good. Generous portions at a fair price point and extremely yummy! I had the Berries n’ Cream French toasted which was amazing! With spiced homefries ughhh they were so good!!! Bacon & sausages. I also had the mimosa which comes in a can, kinda fizzy. I think I would’ve enjoyed it better if it were an original mimosa, fresh orange juice and champagne but it wasn’t bad. We’ll definitely be making this a regular breakfast spot. We’ve also added some footage from Stacked on our YouTube page : Browns R Us ▶️

I hate to leave bad reviews especially for a place I previously enjoyed to frequent, but I would hate anyone else to experience this. I ordered a waffle as I usually do, but today it had been overdone. After having been here several times before, this was inconsistent with what I was accustomed to so I asked for another waffle. The manager, Sandra came to our table and I was told that the place was too busy and because the waffle iron was on for a prolonged period of time, the waffles were being overcooked. They offered to make me another, but expressed that I would be charged if the next waffle came out the same way. As a customer, am I expected pay for a product that isn't consistent with the quality I'm used to paying for? This is not how you deal with a customer. If your waffle iron sucks, get a new one. Don't tell customers they have to pay up for whatever they're given regardless of the quality. Fortunately, the next one came out better. Sandra walked by and asked how it was and in my agitated state, I nodded. Then she made a snarky comment saying "You didn't try the last one" as if it was not obvious by the look and feel of it that it was overcooked. I didn't need to consume it.

I have a respect for people in the service industry and I do my best to be polite. I didn't feel this was handled appropriately and hope there can be better training to ensure managers know how to speak to customers. Especially if the establishment...

Terrible. Our first visit here was on Victoria Day weekend so we were understanding of the slow service and chaotic atmosphere. We returned today and had another terrible experience. They were extremely busy, which is definitely attributed to the food (I will give them that). We were three and an infant, and we asked for a high chair before being seated. We were put on a waiting list and texted about ten minutes later to say our table was ready. When we came into the restaurant, our table wasn’t ready and there were no high chairs available. We waited another 5 minutes for them to clean. A waitress brought up a high chair and I said to my wife, oh this must be ours. The waitress responds, no this is for that table - a table with two toddlers already in booster seats and food served. The hostess got involved and said no, that’s actually for them, they have a baby. She proceeded to bring the high chair to the toddler. We were visibly annoyed and the hostess (who was also irritated by her colleague) kindly asked the woman to give up the high chair and she said no. They then attempted to seat us next to this same woman and offered us a booster seat with no straps…for a baby. Talk about total lack of awareness. We left and will never return. The food is good but the customer...
